BAFTA Kids Vote 2015: Cartoon Network Shows In The Favourite TV Shows Category: Get Voting Now!

Today (19/10/2015), the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Children’s Awards have announced their nomination shortlists for the BAFTA Kids Vote categories, these are categories where children between the ages of 7 and 14 can vote on the BAFTA Kids website for their favourite film, TV show and video game that they have enjoyed this year. BAFTA have selected two kids TV shows that currently broadcast on Cartoon Network UK in the Favourite Kids Shows category, Cartoon Network Studios’ very own Regular Show and Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, made by Cartoon Network’s sister companies: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Traveller’s Tales is also in the Favourite Game category. The winners of the other categories will be decided by the BAFTA Children’s Award jury, the nominations of these categories will be announced on Thursday 22nd October. At the Children’s BAFTA’s last year, Cartoon Network UK won the Kids Channel of the Year award and Adventure Time won the International Kids Show award.

The 2015 BAFTA Children’s Awards will take place at the Roundhouse Theatre in London on Sunday 22nd November. British actor, rapper, comedian and screenwriter Ben Smith, also known as Doc Brown will be returning to present the awards. The BAFTA Children’s Awards have been running since 1996 and was created to celebrate the creative success of high quality media and interactive content aimed at British children. A BAFTA award is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards in the UK media industry.
