Cartoon Network Magazine To Be Relaunched In The UK And Across Europe

Cartoon Network Enterprises is working with Italian publishing company Panini to relaunch a new Cartoon Network Magazine in the United Kingdom. The new magazine will target children in the 5 to 10 year old demographic and will be available in all good newsagents from Thursday 15th October. The magazine will also launch in other territories in the Europe, Middle East and Africa area next year, a list of countries hasn’t been announced yet by Turner. Cartoon Network Magazine will feature comic strips, puzzles and activities about Cartoon Network’s popular shows, including Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, Ben 10, Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Clarence and Steven Universe.

Johanne Broadfield, the VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA, made this statement regarding the new Cartoon Network magazine:

“We know that Cartoon Network fans just love our content from TV ratings and website traffic—the level of interaction with our shows online and in the mobile space is extraordinary. This magazine, developed by Panini, who are the experts at connecting with kids in this space, offers a new ways for our fans to be entertained and have fun with their favourite shows and characters.”

Jess Tadmor, the head of marketing at Panini UK, also made this statement in regards of the magazine deal with Cartoon Network:

“We’ve really enjoyed working with Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA on bringing this magazine to market and we’re delighted to be extending our magazine portfolio with this launch. We have a great package for Cartoon Network fans and believe that the magazine is a natural extension to the brilliant content on channel and on the Cartoon Network website.”
