Eric Lee Appointed As Location Director for Cartoon Network Enterprises Asia Pacific
Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific has appointed Eric Lee as its location based entertainment (LBE) manager for Cartoon Network Enterprises.
Mr Lee will be responsible for licencing and expanding Cartoon Network’s waterparks, theme parks, branded retail and entertainment spaces in the APAC region, previously he worked as Director for Global LBE for Rovio Entertainment in Europe and was involved in the Angry Birds 4D film and Angry Birds VR experience.
Recent location based entertainment successes include the Cartoon Network Amazone waterpark in Thailand, a Tuzki-themed restaurant in Shanghai (Tuzki is an internet emoji brand managed by Turner Broadcasting and Outblaze), and the first of a series of Cartoon Network retail stores in Seoul, South Korea.
Commenting on the announcement, Clément Schwebig, Turner Asia Pacific’s Senior Vice President of Business Development made this statement regarding Mr Lee’s appointment:
