Cartoon Network India And POGO India Celebrates Diwali

Coming up on 10th and 11th November is Diwali, a Hindu festival which is celebrated widespread in India and on 14th November is Children’s Day in India, to celebrate these two important events, Cartoon Network India and POGO have arranged a special schedule. This will mean new movies, specials and competitions, including a chance to win a trip to Singapore.

Cartoon Network will also be celebrating the birthday of popular cartoon character Kris from the Roll No. 21 series with a week-long event. The Kris birthday event is called “Kris ka Dhamakedar Birthday” and will run from 9th to 14th November at 10.30am which will feature movies and specials including the “Kris Sang Salman Aayo” special. Cartoon Network India will also premiere “Lights Camera Roll No. 21: Ticket to Bollywood”, a new movie featuring Kris making his Bollywood debut, on 14th November at 10.30 am.

Kris will celebrate his birthday and Diwali with six fans. Kids have to tune into the “Kris ka Dhamakedar Birthday” contest running from 9th to 14th November and participate in the contest to be invited to the party.

Over on Cartoon Network India’s sister channel named Pogo, the channel will broadcast new movies, specials and host a competition to win a trip to Singapore during the “Dholakpurwali Diwali” stunt running from 9th to 13th November. Chhota Bheem movies and specials will be aired throughout the week from 9am onwards. On 11th November, Pogo will premiere a new movie called “Chhota Bheem: Dinosaur World” at 12pm. Bollywood star Salman Khan will also make his third appearance on the channel in “Prem Dilwala aur Bheem Dholakpurwala” on 12th November at 12pm.

Cartoon Network India Celebrates Diwali

Cartoon Network India have been celebrating Diwali (The Hindu Festival of Lights) by airing a different movie in seven different days at 12pm. Also gift boxes with 100 prizes have been given away every 30 minutes from 12pm everyday during movies between 20th October to 26th October.
