The Vamps And Cartoon Network UK Promote Kung Fu Panda 3 Home Video Release

Pop-rock band, The Vamps made a guest appearance in a special advert made by Cartoon Network UK to promote and celebrate Dreamworks Animation’s latest DVD/Blu-ray release – Kung Fu Panda 3, available in stores now. The promo was made with green-screen technology utilising 3D CGI graphics, giving the appearance of a building with ancient Chinese architecture (to match the artistic theme of the movie) with Cartoon Network themed branding.

The DVD and Blu-ray release of Kung Fu Panda 3 features the single “Kung Fu Fighting” by the band. Throughout summer, The Vamps will be appearing in-between shows on Cartoon Network UK, in segments including a martial arts training session with Po and a hacky-sack competition. Cartoon Network UK’s summer schedule starts on Monday 25th July, with new episodes of Nexo Knights, with weekend marathons and new episodes of Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, Regular Show, Yo-Kai Watch and Teen Titans Go!.

Cartoon Network has teamed up with the hit British pop rock band The Vamps and Kung Fu Panda 3 on Blu-ray and DVD to kick-off their official countdown to summer. From Monday 11th July, the popular four-piece band will take over the channel and promote the DVD and Blu-ray release of Kung Fu Panda 3, available from 11th July, to get viewers Kung Fu ready this Summer. Both the Blu-ray and DVD features the band’s hit single ‘Kung Fu Fighting’.

From a hacky-sack competition to a martial arts training session with Po, The Vamps will be offering kids plenty of exciting entertainment in between episodes of their favourite comedy and action-adventure shows.

Speaking about the upcoming summer holidays, The Vamps said:

Turner Africa has released information regarding programming that will air on their new pop-up kids channel called Hoolee, which will broadcast from 1st December 2015 to 31st January 2016 and will only be available to DStv customers (Hoolee will be available in the following DStv packages: DStv Premium, DStv Extra and DStv Compact). Dreamworks shows such as Dreamworks Dragons: Race to the Edge, All Hail King Julien and The Adventures of Puss in Boots will air on Hoolee. Sonic Boom and Zig & Sharko are the two other acquisitions that will air on the channel alongside animated shows from Cartoon Network’s and Warner Bros. Animation’s show library. Hoolee will also air a selection of movies including Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure, Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers, Babe: Pig in the City, The Borrowers and Balto II: Wolf Quest.
