Cartoon Network Asia-Pacific Appoints Pacific Licensing Studio For Licencing
This week, it was announced that Cartoon Network Enterprises Asia-Pacific, have appointed Singapore-based brand manager Pacific Licensing Studio to represent its consumer products division in Southeast Asia. The new partnership represents countries such as Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines for the purpose of licencing. Pacific Licensing Studio also represents Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Turner’s sister company and will represent licencing for Cartoon Network’s properties including reboots such as The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 as well as current popular franchises such as Adventure Time and Regular Show. Ben 10 and girl-targeted The Powerpuff Girls franchises have generated more than US$7 billion in total global retail sales.
Note: Licencing in the title is not spelt wrong, Licencing is the British Isles/Commonwealth way of spelling the word, Pacific Licensing Studio, retains the American spelling because it is the name of the company.
