Today (27/09/2016), Cartoon Network Australia was at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia ahead of the Foxtel Footy Festival which starts tomorrow (28/09/2016). To promote the new Ben 10 series, Cartoon Network has been flying around a Heatblast shaped drone from the new Ben 10 series. Heatblast is one of the ten aliens Ben Tennyson can transform himself into by using the Omnitrix. As a festival partner, Cartoon Network created a Drone Zone where kids can learn how to operate and fly a drone. The Foxtel Footy Festival celebrates and showcases the best Melbourne has to offer in food, music, movies, and of course – Australian Football.

Cartoon Network UK Ben 10 New Show Promo Now Airing

Cartoon Network UK and Ireland is now airing a promo for the Ben 10 2016 reboot, the new show will premiere on Saturday 8th October at 10am. The reboot is a retelling of the original Ben 10 series where a young boy named Ben Tennyson finds a mysterious device called the Omnitrix which allows him to transform into ten different aliens with unique abilities. The world is in chaos, will Ben’s new found powers save the planet from otherworldly creatures? This kid has a lot of growing up to do and he now has a lot of responsibilities, does Ben have what it takes to become a hero?

Cartoon Network have also launched a brand new Ben 10 interactive microsite on the website. The microsite features character bios for Ben himself, all ten aliens Ben can transform himself into (Overflow, Greymatter, Diamondhead, Cannonbolt, Wildvine, Upgrade, Fourarms, Stinkfly, Heatblast and XLR8) and also for the two main villains (Zombozo and Hex). The microsite also includes video clips, four in-browser games (Power Surge, Steam Camp, Alien Rush and Escape Route), eight mini-games and a quiz. People visiting the site are awarded virtual Ben 10 stickers to collect.

The Ben 10 reboot is promoted as part of Turner Kids’ Awesome Autumn programming slate of new shows and new episodes across all three of its channels in the UK – Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito.
