Cartoon Network USA To Introduce Long Form Advertising
Running this week (06/01/2016 – 09/01/2016) is the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and Turner is marketing their new “Native Plus” product for advertisers, which will replace some commercial breaks that air between five and 10 different 30-second ads with a single two to three-minute long-form advert filling the whole commercial break. The new type of advertising will be available for companies that would like to advertise their product or service on Turner’s channels including Cartoon Network and Boomerang.
For its new Native Plus advertising product, Turner will work with the advertiser to create the longer-form content, which it says it will be more “powerful and impactful to the viewer”. As the advert takes up the whole commercial break, it makes the advert more memorable and viewers are able to learn and understand more about the product or service being advertised.
