Rock Band Melvins To Make Guest Appearance On Uncle Grandpa
Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover from the rock band “Melvins” will appear in animated form in a special new episode of Uncle Grandpa which will air on Cartoon Network USA this Thursday (04/08/2016). Uncle Grandpa describes the band as “the best musicians who’ve ever lived”. Both Buzz and Dale had lots of fun voicing themselves in the cartoon, Buzz stated “I LOVED seeing myself animated, It’s the most reality I’ve had in a long time. These guys were so nice to us! They even allowed Dale and I to do the voiceovers sans pants!”. Dale mentioned that it was a dream come true as he was always has been a fan of animation: “I always wanted to be in animation and do cartoon voices, so this is a dream come true for me, We look hilarious as cartoon characters and fit right in with Uncle Grandpa and his gang!”.
The special episode will air on Thursday 4th August at 7.30pm ET/PT on Cartoon Network USA.
The Amazing World of Gumball on Nickelodeon Germany
From Monday 5th September, Nickelodeon Germany will start airing episodes from the first season of The Amazing World of Gumball. Despite being a long-time international rival to Cartoon Network, Nick Germany is actually a free-to-air channel unlike Cartoon Network Germany which requires a pay-tv subscription to receive the channel. The channel already airs Cartoon Network’s very own Adventure Time, with Nick Germany airing older episodes for free and Cartoon Network Germany airing new episodes with more frequent airings. Free-to-air episode premieres of The Amazing World of Gumball will air everyday at 4.40pm.
