Cartoon Network Enterprises MENA 2016 IMG Worlds Of Adventure Event
Cartoon Network Enterprises held its annual event at the IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to put forward its upcoming licensing plans for 2017. Licensees and retailers from different business sectors including Toys and Fashion from across the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region attended the event. At the event Cartoon Network promoted their popular shows that are available for licensing including Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10 and a show specially developed for the MENA market – Mansour.
During the event, retailers were presented with scalable toolkits for Cartoon Network’s properties, from turnkey activations offering augmented reality experiences to entertainment-based programmes for areas with a high concentration of shoppers. All are easily implementable retail solutions to drive deep engagement with shoppers and Cartoon Network audiences.
It’s highly likely that IMG Worlds of Adventure was chosen as the venue because the Cartoon Network Zone at the theme park is a major example of how licensing has been successfully executed. The zone features Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 rides and attractions. IMG Worlds of Adventure opened its doors to the public on 31st August this year.

Cartoon Network Enterprises recently held its annual Licensing Day at Dubai’s IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park to discuss upcoming plans for 2017, franchise shows and support plans that will be put in place for the entire year.
Licensees and Retailers from Toy, Fashion and F&B sectors, all converged at the event from across the MENA region. In addition to numerous displays of Cartoon Network licensed product, attendees were also taken through an engaging and interactive journey on each of the Cartoon Network brands, including Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, Powerpuff Girls, and Ben 10, in addition to locally-produced show Mansour among others.

As the event came to a close, guests at the event enjoyed a meal at the Cartoon Network Feast, a uniquely conceived restaurant in the Cartoon Network Zone, followed by the opportunity to experience the different rides IMG Worlds of Adventure had to offer.
