Saturday (23/07/2017), was Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 and the Boomerang streaming service’s chance to promote themselves at San Diego Comic Con 2017. First up, was Boomerang, who hosted a Saturday morning cartoons event. Panelists include Bob Bergen (current voice of Porky Pig and Tweety), Jeff Bergman (current voice of Bugs Bunny) and Kari Wahlgren (voice of Dorothy from Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz), attendees also got to see a first look at the brand new Wacky Races series and everyone received a 30-day free trial of Boomerang’s new streaming service, which includes a library of classic animation from Warner Bros, Hanna-Barbera, Cartoon Network and brand new exclusives from Warner Bros. Animation. There were games and a prize giveaway too.

Immediately after the Boomerang panel, was the Ben 10 panel. This was an opportunity for fans to ask questions to Greg Cipes (voice of Stinkfly), John DiMaggio (voice of Four Arms), Montse Hernandez (voice of Gwen), Roger Craig Smith (voice of Diamondhead), Tara Strong (voice of Ben Tennyson), John Fang (executive producer), Joe Casey (writer and co-creator of Ben 10, Man of Action Entertainment). This was an opportunity for fans to find out what’s new with the show and find out more about the new Ben 10 toys that have been released recently and also the new augmented reality app – Ben 10: Alien Experience. There was an opportunity to meet the cast and crew during the autograph session.

Shelby Rabana (voice of Peridot in Steven Universe) did a video tour of the Cartoon Network Booth at the convention, which is modelled after Gar’s Hero Supply and Bodega from Cartoon Network Studios’ latest show OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.
