Cartoon Network USA Teen Titans Go! The Night Begins To Shine Miniseries Starts 1st August

Airing from Tuesday 1st August until Friday 4th August, Cartoon Network USA will be airing Teen Titans Go!’s brand new four-part miniseries – The Night Begins To Shine (Full Title: The Day the Night Stopped Beginning to Shine and Became Dark Even Though it Was the Day). The miniseries is based on the fan-favourite Teen Titans Go! episode “40%, 40%, 20%”. In the episode “40%, 40%, 20%”, Cyborg reveals that his inner strength comes not from his mechanical parts but by the fictional 80’s rock song “The Night Begins To Shine” by B.E.R., he gets obsessed with the song and sings the lyrics repeatedly to the annoyance of his fellow teammates, the Teen Titans eventually embrace the power of the song and get transported into another reality while riding a futuristic motorbike and while the song “The Night Begins To Shine” plays in the background.

At this point, the episode has a huge art-shift as a tribute to 1980’s action cartoons, this leads up to a big battle against “The Brain” and Cyborg gets transformed into “Cyborgamous Prime” in a homage to the original 1980’s Transformers cartoon and frees the captured Teen Titans.
