Not Really The Cartoon Network News anchorman – Miles Long, is looking for a new correspondent for the show, because his other reporters couldn’t cope with all the technical issues caused by the malfunctioning datacles, Miles himself is having a hard time and the Gloforms are doing their best to fix the visual and audio glitches. To take part in the competition, upload a video or submit a job application form explaining why you would make an awesome news correspondent on the Not Really The Cartoon Network News competition page on the Cartoon Network UK website (http://www.cartoonnetworkgloforms.co.uk).
The first place winner will win a trip to London for two people (yourself and a parent) to guest star as a correspondent in a brand new news bulletin/Clarks Gloforms advert at the CNN International Studios in London (where Not Really The Cartoon Network News is actually recorded). The first place winner will also win an Apple iPad Mini 2 and a pair of Clarks Gloforms sports shoes. The news bulletin/Clarks Gloforms advert will air on Cartoon Network UK and Boomerang UK sometime between 21st and 29th October (October Half Term). Ten runner-ups will win a Cartoon Network goodie bag and a pair of Clarks Gloforms sports shoes.
To enter the competition you must be under 16 years old, and you must ask your parent or guardian for permission. If it’s a video entry, your parent must feature at the start of the video and state: “I am (insert name) and I am the (insert parent/guardian) of (insert child’s name) and I agree to the terms and conditions”.
