Cartoon Network Enterprises Launches Its Most Ambitious Trade Campaign Yet Ready For Licensing Expo 2018
Cartoon Network’s merchandising and product licensing division – Cartoon Network Enterprises has been preparing for Licensing Expo 2018 with its most ambitious and creative trade marketing campaign yet. Cartoon Network Enterprises has made posters for three of its most licensed brands – Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls and Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty. The posters feature merchandise laid out and arranged in the shape of a face belonging to a main character from each of the three shows. CNE’s Ben 10 poster features Four Arms face, the Powerpuff Girls poster has Buttercup’s face and the Rick and Morty poster has merchandise laid out in the shape of Rick’s face. The campaign has been featured on PromaxBDA’s website, an organisation that celebrates high-quality campaigns and branding produced by the entertainment marketing industry.
Ben 10 is Cartoon Network’s top grossing brand worldwide, the series brings in around $5 billion in global retail sales each year and has been a highly popular licensed action toy brand for young boys. The Powerpuff Girls is one of Cartoon Network’s oldest and most successful shows, the animated series is celebrating its 20th anniversary and CNE has been marketing the brand toward girls and young woman with a licensed portfolio of toys, clothing and accessories. Rick and Morty is currently Adult Swim’s flagship animated series and has been a hit worldwide, it’s also Cartoon Network Enterprises’ fastest growing brand.
Cartoon Network Enterprises will be at Licensing Expo 2018, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas between 22nd and 24th May. CNE will be located at booth #D170 at the convention. Other important brands CNE will be promoting at Licensing Expo 2018 include Steven Universe, We Bare Bears and Adventure Time.
