Conversation With The Creator Of Cartoon Network’s Summer Camp Island Julia Pott At GLAS Animation Festival 2019

At GLAS (GLobal Animation Syndicate) Animation Festival 2019, there will be a special “Conversation With Julia Pott” session on 22nd March between 7.30pm and 8.30pm at the David Brower Center, tickets cost $12 USD. Julia Pott, is the creator of Cartoon Network’s Summer Camp Island, the show is about two best friends named Oscar and Hedgehog staying at a magical summer camp full of mystery and wonder. Julia Pott is a British animation director now working for Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, before Summer Camp Island was greenlit, she was a member of Adventure Time’s writing team from January 2015 up until the show’s finale. Julia graduated from Kingston University in 2007 and completed a masters degree at The Royal College of Art in London in 2011.

At the session, the will be a Q&A segment, this will be an opportunity for animation fans to ask questions about Summer Camp Island and her previous work. This year’s GLAS (GLobal Animation Syndicate) Animation Festival will he held in its usual location of Berkeley (near San Francisco), California between 21st and 24th March. Cartoon Network Studios is also a major sponsor of the GLAS Animation Festival.
