Clarence To End After Season Three

Clarence To End After Season Three

Clarence To End After Season Three

The end of Cartoon Network’s Clarence isn’t exactly new news, but the head of story on the show and the voice of Clarence – Spencer Rothbell has released a full statement on his blog. On 5th April, Spencer confirmed that the show will end after season three, but the good news is Clarence will be staying around on Cartoon Network way into 2018 and the show will have a proper ending. He also said that season three will be filled with a load of great episodes.

Season three will feature guest stars, more character development, show format experiments and lots of other fun stuff. In his blog post, he thanked everyone who has worked on the show and also to all the fans. The show is run by a talented and enthusiastic team that love what they are doing, this is reflected in the quality of the actual show. Spencer also mentioned that he may do more writing and voice acting, and maybe some show pitches of his own, which sounds interesting. Whatever Spencer and the Clarence crew do next, I wish them the best of luck for the future.

Steven Universe Soundtrack Available Worldwide From 2nd June

Due to popular demand and requests from the loyal Steven Universe fanbase, Cartoon Network has announced today (12/04/2017) that they will be releasing a digital album featuring a selection of songs from the show’s soundtrack entitled “Steven Universe Soundtrack: Volume 1”.

From Friday 2nd June, Steven Universe fans throughout the world will be able to buy the digital album or listen to the album on major music streaming services. The album features a collection of songs picked by Rebecca Sugar, the show’s creator, with songs written by the Crewniverse (the nickname for Steven Universe’s production team) and composed and remastered by the music duo – Aivi & Surasshu. Just like the show, the songs on the album are performed by the show’s voice acting cast, Zach Callison (Steven), Estelle (Garnet), Deedee Magno Hall (Pearl), Michaela Dietz (Amethyst) and Tom Scharpling (Greg) as well as performances by special guests and by Rebecca Sugar herself.

Steven Universe, the show’s titular character, is a cheerful young boy who lives in the fictional town of Beach City with the “Crystal Gems” – Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst, a team of three gem-projected aliens with special powers who have rebelled against their homeworld to protect Earth. Steven himself is half-human and half-gem, inheriting his powers and gem from his mother – Rose Quartz, Steven soon learns how to use his powers properly and helps out the Crystal Gems during their intergalactic adventures.

A full track listing of all the songs has not been announced yet, but Cartoon Network UK will post more information about the album on social media closer to the release date. Also this summer, Cartoon Network UK will be airing new episodes of Steven Universe.

A free sample track from the album – “We Are The Crystal Gems” (in MP3 format) can be downloaded via the link below:

From The Turner UK Press Release: Cartoon Network Answers Fan Demand With Steven Universe Soundtrack: Volume 1, Digital Album To Be Released Globally 2nd June 2017

Expanding its multiple-platform reach with fans, Cartoon Network announced today the digital album Steven Universe Soundtrack: Volume 1, a collection of music from the beloved Emmy-nominated hit series.

Viewers asked for a compilation of the music that plays such an important role in Steven Universe, and now Cartoon Network will meet that demand. Available globally on Friday, 2nd June, 2017, the soundtrack will feature songs originally heard in the series’ 120-plus episodes, including the iconic theme song, “We Are the Crystal Gems.”

From the creative minds of Rebecca Sugar and the incredible Steven Crewniverse, the digital album features a deep roster of re-mastered songs handpicked by Sugar and performed by the series voice cast, including Zach Callison (Steven), Estelle (Garnet), Deedee Magno Hall (Pearl), Michaela Dietz (Amethyst) and Tom Scharpling (Greg); as well as special performances by renowned guests and Sugar herself.

“I am so excited about this album that I hardly have the words,” said Rebecca Sugar. “We poured our hearts into these songs and now they’re finally collected and stunningly re-mastered by our composers Aivi & Surrasshu.” Sugar continued, “I can not say enough about how much I love each of these tracks! But I can say that this is the best they’ve ever sounded! Please blast them! Please sing along! That’s what these are for! If the music of Steven Universe has been a tiny piece of the score of your life, please know that I am so honored. I hope you’ll love this album as much as we loved making it.”

Steven Universe Soundtrack: Volume 1 will be available for purchase in digital music stores, as well as on all major streaming platforms. A full track listing will be revealed in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to Cartoon Network UK’s official social channels for more information.

Steven Universe, hailed for its voice of inclusion, follows Steven, the “little brother” to a team of magical guardians of humanity—the Crystal Gems. Steven may not be as powerful as the Crystal Gems. Or as savvy. And he may not have much control over his powers. But that doesn’t stop him from joining Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl on their magical adventures and somehow finding a way to save the day. New episodes of Steven Universe will air on Cartoon Network in the UK this summer.
