Turner Acquires Broadcasting Rights For Grizzy And The Lemmings For Boomerang Worldwide

Turner Broadcasting System has agreed a broadcasting deal with French production company, Studio Hari to air their new animated show called Grizzy and The Lemmings. It was revealed last week that France Télévisions who commissioned the series was negotiating with Turner at the Annecy Animation Festival last week. Boomerang channels throughout the world will get the new show as part of a pre-sales deal, this also includes Boomerang USA. Grizzy and The Lemmings is a CGI comedy and will have an initial 78 episodes that are 7 minutes long each. Studio Hari, the Paris and Angouleme-based animation studio that has created the show is behind such animated properties as The Owl and Co, Leon and The Gees.

The new series is about the adventures of Grizzy, a big dumb bear living in the Canadian countryside living alongside some Lemmings that are even more stupid. The full series will be ready by the end of next year.

Update (02/10/2015), Turner UK has provided me with another higher resolution image of Grizzy and the Lemmings, which can be downloaded on the link below.
