The album features a collection of songs picked by Rebecca Sugar, the show’s creator, with songs written by the Crewniverse (the nickname for Steven Universe’s production team) and composed and remastered by the music duo – Aivi & Surasshu. Steven Universe, hailed for its voice of inclusion, follows Steven, the “little brother” to a team of magical guardians of humanity—the Crystal Gems. Steven may not be as powerful as the Crystal Gems. Or as savvy. And he may not have much control over his powers. But that doesn’t stop him from joining Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl on their magical adventures and somehow finding a way to save the day. New episodes of Steven Universe will air on Cartoon Network in the UK this summer.
