Cartoon Network Live Stage Show Coming To Bahrain 23rd To 26th August

Cartoon Network’s live stage show – Cartoon Network Live! Heroes Unite is continuing its Europe, Middle East and Africa tour, its next stop will be in Bahrain, previously the stage show has visited Abu Dhabi, UAE and South Africa. The live show will be the first of its kind in Bahrain and will run for four days during the Eid Al Adha holidays between 23rd and 26th August and will be performed at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The show will be presented by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Live Nation Middle East and Turner – the owners of Cartoon Network. The spectacular stage show will offer an interactive experience for kids and families and will feature Cartoon Network’s most popular heroes from Ben 10, The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time and The Powerpuff Girls.

In Cartoon Network Live! Heroes Unite, Kelvin Gizmo, teenager and scientist extraordinaire, transports the audience into the world of Cartoon Network which is under threat of Zarr, the evil robot. Locations include Adventure Time’s Land of Ooo, the city of Townsville in The Powerpuff Girls and The Amazing World of Gumball’s Elmore. Kelvin, the heroes of Cartoon Network and the audience must work together to stop Zarr and his evil plans.

The Senior Vice President Family Entertainment and Theater at Live Nation, Michel Boersma made this statement in regards about Cartoon Network Live! Tickets are priced at 25 (Gold), 12 (Silver), and 6 (Bronze) Bahraini Dinar and are now available from http://manama.platinumlist.net. A 20% discount is available on family packs of five tickets. Each show will last for one and a half hours with start times at 11am, 3.30 pm and 7pm on each day.

Yesterday (26/09/2017), Cartoon Network MENA (Middle East and North Africa) held their annual licensing day at Park Hyatt in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. At the event, Cartoon Network Enterprises announced their product, service and franchising licensing plans for 2018.

Licensees and retailers from all across the region attended the event which had many of the new products on display. Attendees were also taken through an interactive tour for several Cartoon Network IPs including Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, the locally produced animated series – Mansour (which now has franchising status) and many others. At the event, retailers were presented with toolkits on how to utilise Cartoon Network’s franchises which includes everything from AR (Augmented Reality) to entertainment shows.

In a statement about the licensing event, Ali El-Hagar, Licensing Director for Cartoon Network MENA & Turkey, said:

“We want to focus on simple growth pillars starting from franchise management. Earlier, we were in the launch phase. We now want to concentrate on the building and sustaining phases. We will work towards regional expansion adapting to local preferences aimed at driving deep engagement with shoppers and Cartoon Network audiences across the region.”

In other product licensing news, Concept One in the United States will be manufacturing a series of We Bare Bears themed clothing accessories and for Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty. For the UK market, Poetic Brands will be manufacturing a portfolio of Rick and Morty nightwear.
