Today (3rd August) Cartoon Network Games and Outright Games have announced that two of Cartoon Network’s latest console games – Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes will be released in a physical 2-in-1 bundle for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for Nintendo Switch. The bundle will be released in North America on 30th October and will be released in Europe on 2nd November for $39.99 (USD)/£34.99 (GBP)/€39.99 (EUR). All three console double pack bundles are now available to pre-order from Amazon.com.

Also, this will be the first time these games will be released for Nintendo Switch, both in digital and physical form, Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes will also be available to purchase individually in the Nintendo eShop on 30th October for $24.99 (USD)/£19.99 (GBP)/€24.99 (EUR) and $19.99 (USD)/£17.99 (GBP)/€19.99 (EUR) respectively.

Produced by Grumpyface Studios, Steven Universe: Save the Light is the sequel to the hit mobile RPG game – Attack the Light. The video game features an original story written by the show’s creator – Rebecca Sugar and features many of the characters and environments as featured in the show. In the game, Steven and the Crystal Gems team up to stop a mysterious gem from stealing a powerful weapon – the Light Prism. The game features real-time and turn-based gameplay battling mechanics.

OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes is an action RPG developed by Capybara Games produced in collaboration with OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes series creator – Ian Jones-Quartey. In the game, Lord Boxman resets the POW card levels of every hero in Lakewood Plaza Turbo, a strip mall for heroes, it’s up to K.O. and his Lakewood Plaza friends to defeat Lord Boxman’s robot army and save the plaza. The game features quests, battles, levelling-up game mechanics and brawler-style combat.

Steven Universe: Save the Light is currently available in digital format on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game will be released for Steam for Microsoft Windows and Mac OSX later this month. OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

Cartoon Network and Outright Games have also worked on Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion and the recently released Ben 10, both games are now available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Let’s Play Heroes. The bundle will be available globally on the PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch™ on Oct. 30 in North America and Nov. 2 in Europe for $39.99/£34.99/€39.99.

Marking the first time these console titles will be available on Nintendo Switch, both Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes will also release as standalone titles in the Nintendo eShop on Oct. 30 for $24.99/£19.99/€24.99 and $19.99/£17.99/€19.99, respectively.

Last week, Cartoon Network USA aired a five night story arc special of Steven Universe called “The Heart Of The Crystal Gems”, during the special we saw the division of Garnet as a result of the shock of finding out that Rose Quartz is actually Pink Diamond, we also saw some old friends returning including Bismuth and Lapis Lazuli, the eventual reunion and marriage of Ruby and Sapphire and also the showdown against Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond. The Crystal Gems are now stronger than ever to face any challenge. The story arc includes the episodes “Now We’re Only Falling Apart”, “What’s Your Problem?”, “The Question”, “Made of Honor” and “Reunited”, all five episodes are on the DVD release.

In addition to The Heart Of The Crystal Gems story arc, the DVD will also feature the episodes “Bismuth”, “Mindful Education”, “Storm In The Room”, “The Trial” and the catalyst for the whole story arc – “A Single Pale Rose”.

Cartoon Network’s longest running animated series – Adventure Time will be sadly ending this year. However, there is some good news as Adventure Time fans will be able to keep Finn and Jake’s final adventures forever with the Adventure Time: The Final Seasons DVD home video release. Adventure Time: The Final Seasons will be released on Tuesday 4th September in the United States and is now available to pre-order at Amazon.com. The final seasons DVD will include the Islands and Elements miniseries and also the epic final battle special.

The home video DVD release will include special features including animatics produced during episode development, an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette, a character art gallery and song demos.
