Cartoon Network France Launches Mighty Magiswords Microsite

The Cartoon Network France website now has a Mighty Magiswords section. In the Mighty Magiswords section of the site, you can find out more about the main characters – Prohyas and Vambre as well as secondary characters including Grup the Dragon and Princess Zange. There’s information about the different types of Magiswords used by the Warriors for Hire in the show and there’s info about the different locations in the land of Lyvsheria.

Turner Kids Channel Ratings Increase

Turner France has published their latest kids channel portfolio viewing statistics, the audience of its kids channels (Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Boing and Toonami) have grown by almost 12% among children aged 4 to 10 years old. In the 4 to 14 age group, the viewing rating growth rate was 27.5%.

Scooby-Doo! Halifax Advert Now Airing In The UK

Halifax, a major UK bank, has continued their partnership with Hanna-Barbera with a brand new advert featuring Scooby-Doo and his Mystery Inc. crime-solving friends, in the advert Scooby and Shaggy hide in Halifax branch to seek safety from an Egyptian mummy chasing them, later they’re taking advantage of Halifax’s Reward account by eating at a pizza restaurant, and by chance, the mummy that was chasing them became unbandaged, revealing the man that was causing the trouble all along. According to a survey carried out by Sky Kids last year, Scooby-Doo was voted the UK’s all time favourite kids TV show. Previous Halifax adverts featured Top Cat and The Flintstones.

Boomerang, Boing And Toonami Now Available On Fransat In France

French pay-tv satellite operator – Fransat has launched its very own kids channel pack (Pack Jeunesse), the channel pack includes French versions of three of Turner’s children’s channels – Boomerang, Boing and Toonami (as well as Canal J and Tiji from Lagardère Active). The channel pack launched on 1st December and has two prices – €6 per month with no contract or €4 per month with a 12 months contract.

Boomerang offers classic animation from Hanna-Barbera, MGM and Warner Bros., modern remakes of classic cartoons and contemporary animation from third-party studios. Boing offers a variety of programming, this includes some Cartoon Network classics and some live-action shows. Toonami is an action animation channel filled with shows from the DC Comics animation library.

Boing France And Boing Italy Buys Glammys School of Fashion Vlog Broadcasting Rights

Turner Southern Europe has acquired the broadcasting rights for Glammys: School of Fashion Vlog, the show will air on Boing France and Boing Italy. Glammys School of Fashion Vlog is a short-form animated series, consisting of 13 episodes with two minutes runtime per episode. The show is about a group of young people who attend a fashion school with dreams to become successful in the fashion business.

Each episode is a Vlog (Video log) for a different character in the show. The series has a running theme of friendship, teamwork, talent and creativity. The show’s target audience is girls between the ages of 6 to 9, but may appeal to other audiences because of the show’s humour.

The show is animated by Italian animation studio Maga Animation, known for the animated series Extreme Football (known as Foot2Rue Extrême in France).
