Cartoon Network USA has uploaded a sneak peek clip of the special OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes and Captain Planet crossover episode which will air on Monday 9th October at 6.30pm ET/PT. In the sneak peek, the young hero – K.O. walks outside Gar’s Bodega and is shocked from what he sees, he’s noticed that the Lakewood Plaza’s car park is literally a lake, he also notices the smog coming from the Boxmore factory and also the litter on the floor. The plaza has become an environmental disaster area.

Suddenly, Kwame, a planeteer from the Captain Planet television series (voiced by LeVar Burton) turns up on the scene because he too has noticed that something has gone horribly wrong with the plaza. Kwame gives K.O. and his friends special power rings representing different elements: Heart, Fire, Water and Wind. Kwame uses his Earth ring too. Together, they use their rings to summon the eco superhero – Captain Planet (voiced by David Coburn) to help them restore the plaza to its original and usual state.
