New Mobile Game Steven Universe Dreamland Arcade

Yesterday (09/11/2017), Cartoon Network Games has released a brand new Steven Universe game for mobile devices called Steven Universe: Dreamland Arcade. In the game, Steven falls asleep in the Funland Arcade in Beach City, while asleep, he dreams of an world full of uniquely designed arcade games, all of which are inspired by his friends and family. He dreams of several games including a sword fighting game, where Connie is testing her skills against Holo-Pearl, a gem monster smashing game with Garnet, a game where you ride on Lion’s back for as long as possible, a game that involves catching critters with Onion and many more.

Prize tickets can be earned from each game and can be used to unlock 45 collectable figures, which can be used to unlock new powers and costumes for in-game character. At launch, Funland Arcade has nine games, with each game centered on a different character in Steven Universe. The game is free to download supported by in-app ads, and is available for select iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices via the App store as well as Android smartphones and tablets via Google Play and the Amazon App Store.

Cartoon Network Partners With SundayToz For New We Bare Bears Puzzle Game

Cartoon Network Games has teamed up with South Korean game developer SundayToz for a new We Bare Bears themed puzzle game for mobile devices, the new game is expected to be released globally in early 2018. The new game will be a “match-3” puzzle and city-builder game as well as storytelling and animation from the show. Players can play with their friends and compete against each other for the highest score on the leaderboards.

SundayToz is well known for its range of “Anipang” series of mobile games in South Korea, the Anipang series of games feature various cute characters and games include match-3 puzzles, mahjong and poker. In total and as of January 2017, SundayToz’s apps have been downloaded more than 82 million times.

We Bare Bears fans in the UK can watch brand new episodes of We Bare Bears on weekdays at 4.30pm on Cartoon Network.

Cartoon Network has partnered with Korean game developer SundayToz for a mobile puzzle game around the network’s hit animated series, We Bare Bears. A global launch is expected early 2018.

The free match 3-style and city-builder game will feature storytelling and video from the series, as well as competitive features such as leader-boards where friends can challenge one another.

“It’s exciting to partner with SundayToz on a new global mobile game for We Bare Bears,” said Chris Waldron, Vice President of Cartoon Network Digital Products and Games. “They connect with the fun, light-hearted tone of the series; and we know they’ll deliver a game our fans won’t want to put down.”

Today (23/10/2017), Cartoon Network USA has announced a new villain that will make an appearance in the upcoming console game – Save The Light. The new villain is called Hessonite and is a commander from the gem’s homeworld and commands the Peridot lookalike character – Squaridot who has traveled to Earth to turn the Prism back into a powerful weapon after taking it away from Steven. In the game, Hessonite will be voiced by the Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress, Christine Baranski.

Save The Light is a sequel to the mobile game Attack The Light, the new game is a collaboration between the creator of Steven Universe – Rebecca Sugar and games developer – Grumpyface Studios. The game will feature characters from the show and 3D scenery as featured in the show such as Beach City, Strawberry Battlefields, the Great North and many more. Organise a group of playable characters including Steven, Connie, Peridot and Greg, level up characters and craft new gear to fight off foes more easily. Fight against enemies with a battling system the combines real-time and turn-based strategy and create character fusions including Stevonnie (Steven and Connie), Opal (Amethyst and Pearl), Sardonyx (Garnet and Pearl), Smokey Quartz (Steven and Amethyst) and Sugilite (Garnet and Amethyst)

Save The Light will be released for PlayStation 4 in North and Latin America on Tuesday 31st October and will be released for XBOX One worldwide on Friday 3rd November. At present, there’s no release date for PlayStation 4 outside North and Latin America.
