Cartoon Network USA Halloween Colouring Book Bumpers Mashup
After a slight graphics refresh on Monday this week (10th September), Cartoon Network USA is continuing the Colouring Book theme with another colouring-in mashup, but this time it’s for an ident that will air during Halloween. Cartoon Network USA are inviting fans to take part in the mashup and colour-in individual frames for two Halloween themed bumpers/idents. Fans can take part in the mashup and find out more by visiting https://cartoonnetworkmashup.com, submissions for the Halloween mashup will close on Tuesday 25th September.
The first ident features Susie – the meanest witch on Summer Camp Island in the woods, she’s brewing up a concoction in her cauldron, with ghost-like Cartoon Network characters escaping from it, the ident features Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, Grizz from We Bare Bears, Oscar from Summer Camp Island, Gumball from The Amazing World of Gumball and K.O. from OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes. In the background behind Susie, we can see the strongest witch on Summer Camp Island – Alice flying past.
The second ident features a head transformation animation, it starts off with Summer Camp Island’s Oscar as a mummy being unbandaged, followed by Panda from We Bare Bears as a Jack-o’-lantern and then Raven from Teen Titans Go! releasing bats from her cape.
Cartoon Network USA Celebrates National Colouring Book Day By Giving Fans The Opportunity To Colour In A Cartoon Network Mashup Video
Today (2nd August) is National Colouring Book Day in the United States and Cartoon Network USA has used the day to help promote its ongoing fan-driven CN Mashup colouring-in video project. Cartoon Network has made a video featuring many of its cartoon characters, and they want fans to get involved and colour-in each frame, to take part in the fun, please visit the CN Mashup website http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/mashup. The project started on 16th July and since then people have already made a contribution to the mashup.
Participants can either use the online paint tool on the CN Mashup microsite, or print it out and use various art materials. Artwork can be either submitted online or by mail, instructions and rules can be found on the CN Mashup microsite. The completed mashup video will soon air on the Cartoon Network USA TV channel, which means this will be an unique opportunity for fans to get their artwork shown on television!

Cartoon Network This Week Episode 23 Do The JP And San Diego Comic Con 2018
This week’s episode of Cartoon Network This Week starts off with Sam doing the “Do The JP” dance, a reference to the “JPony” episode of Craig of the Creek which premiered on the Cartoon Network USA television channel on Monday (9th July). Kids using the CN Sayin’ app recorded themselves doing the JP dance, some of the video clips are featured in this week’s episode of Cartoon Network This Week.
Featured in this week’s episode are Cartoon Network’s plans for San Diego Comic Con 2018, which starts next Thursday (19th July). At the convention there will be special panels including “Superheroes of Body Positivity: A Conversation With Steven Universe’s Rebecca Sugar and Friends”, a final goodbye panel for Adventure Time, another panel for Steven Universe, and a cross-show panel for Cartoon Network’s upcoming, new and current animated productions called “Cartoon Network Creators: Drawing on Inspiration”, featuring show creators Matt Burnett and Ben Levin from Craig of the Creek, Daniel Chong from We Bare Bears, Diego Molano from Victor and Valentino and Julia Pott from Summer Camp Island. Not at San Diego Comic Con this year? Cartoon Network USA will be posting full-length videos of each panel the next day, so no-one is left behind on the latest info about the newest shows and episodes.
Cartoon Network’s booth at this year’s San Diego Comic Con (Booth Number #3735) will be Steven Universe themed, with giant Steven, Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst inflatables floating above a crystal landscape. At the booth, Cartoon Network will also be giving away Steven Universe tote bags and badges. Each day at the convention, the badges will have a different Steven Universe character design, attend San Diego Comic Con between Thursday and Sunday to get the entire set.

Also announced in this week’s episode, the long-awaited Adventure Time Minecraft special “Diamonds and Lemons” will premiere on Friday 20th July at 7pm ET/PT, (straight after a new episode of Teen Titans Go!) on the Cartoon Network USA television channel.
