Steven Universe Stronger Than You Music Video Now Online
Today (27/07/2017) Cartoon Network USA and Cartoon Network UK has uploaded the official music video for Steven Universe’s Stronger Than You onto YouTube. The music video was recorded at San Diego Comic Con last Sunday in front of a huge crowd of Steven Universe fans. The song was performed by Estelle Darlings, the voice of Garnet (the character that performs the song in the show) standing on a stage shaped just like Steven’s gem. The song is also on the Steven Universe: Volume 1 Soundtrack.
Fans had the unique opportunity to make an appearance in the music video and some even went as their favourite characters, in the music video you can spot Peridot, Lapis Lazuli, Ruby, Sapphire, Jasper, Garnet, Pearl and several people wearing Steven’s recognisable star t-shirt.
Cartoon Network UK OK K.O.! Lakewood Plaza Turbo Mobile App Now Available For Download
Today (27/07/2017), Cartoon Network UK has released a new mobile game which is based on a new animated series coming to the channel this autumn, the game is called OK K.O.! Lakewood Plaza Turbo and is based on the latest animated series from Cartoon Network Studios – OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes. The new show will premiere on Cartoon Network UK this October. The mobile game is now available for free on the iTunes App Store (iOS for iPhone), Google Play (Android) and the Amazon App Store (Amazon Fire/Android) with no in-app purchases.
In the new mobile game, the player takes the role of the hero and protagonist of the new series – K.O., K.O. is an optimistic kid who attempts to level up his fighting abilities just like a video game character, he aims to be the world’s greatest hero in a world filled with dudes, duddettes and villains. The game’s story setting – Lakewood Plaza is a shopping area populated with heroes. With years of work, training and dedication, these heroes level up their abilities, they strive to be the best they can be, but this can be a lot of effort. However, the people at the plaza are offered a new drink which promises to unlock their potential. Little do they know, it was an evil ploy by the plaza’s most feared villain – Lord Boxman, the owner of the Boxmore store, Lakewood Plaza’s biggest competitor. Everyone who tried the potion has turned into an evil version of themselves!.
Luckily, K.O. and Mr. Gar didn’t try out the drink. Mr. Gar had no choice but to destroy Lakewood Plaza and scatter the now evil residents in different locations around the world. Now, K.O. must go an epic quest and learn how to be a true hero, it’s up to K.O. to save and rescue the Lakewood Plaza residents from the clutches of Lord Boxman and restore the plaza to its former glory. As K.O., the player is able to use power punches, kicks and power moves to help K.O. fight his way to victory!
The app features an action-packed open world adventure, tons of special abilities, five environments to explore, including Lakewood Plaza itself, comic-book style storytelling and voice acting by the show’s original cast (including brand new characters).

Cartoon Network UK Ben 10 Hero Truck Tour Starts 27th July
Throughout the school summer holidays, Cartoon Network UK will be running a Ben 10 tour around the UK called the “Ben 10 Hero Truck Tour”, a specially custom-made trailer branded like The Rustbucket RV motorhome from the animated TV show will be visiting several locations of Toys “R” Us, Tesco and Smyths Toy Superstores. The tour will kick off this Thursday (27/07/2017) at the Tesco Extra branch in Havant, Hampshire and will be visiting an additional 16 locations and will end at the Smyths Toys Superstores branch in Ashford, Kent on Sunday 20th August.
The purpose of the Rustbucket tour is to promote the brand new Ben 10 toy range now available at toy retailers across the UK. The toy range is produced by Playmates Toys and distributed in the UK by Flair (a part of the Giochi Preziosi toy group). Flair has already released a range of collectable “power-up” and “deluxe” figures, “Transform-N-Battle” roleplay items and basic and deluxe versions of the Omnitrix as well as the Rust Bucket playset. The Hero Truck tour will also include an augmented reality experience, where shoppers will be able to transform themselves into their favourite Ben 10 alien. After the UK tour, the Rustbucket will tour around Europe in countries such as Poland, Spain and Italy.
In addition to the tour, branches of The Entertainer, Smyths and Toys “R” Us have put out displays with a Rustbucket design to display the new toy range, kids are able to sit inside the Rustbucket shaped display and pretend that they’re on an adventure that’s out of this world.
Regarding the Ben 10 Hero Truck Tour and the new toy range, Graham Saltmarsh, director of licensing for Cartoon Network Enterprises UK and Northern Europe said:
