On the first day of the festival (Thursday 19th April) some of the UK’s top childrens’ content commissioners will be speaking during the “Afternoon Tea with the Children’s Commissioners” session. After the session, there will be an opportunity for potential show creators to pitch and discuss their ideas in a ten-minute one-to-one session with a content commissioner, they’re also there to offer advice on how to get an animated project picked up and commissioned by a children’s channel. The session is supported by BAFTA’s (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Wales division – BAFTA Cymru.
