Teen Titans Go! To The Movies Advert Now Airing On UK Television

An advertisement for the upcoming movie based on Warner Bros. Animation’s and Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go! is now airing on UK television, including show’s home channel – Cartoon Network. In the UK, the movie will be released in cinemas nationwide on Friday 3rd August. The movie promises to have so much action, and so many heroes that it’s the superhero movie to end all superhero movies (hopefully), if Aquaman can have a movie, anyone can. The movie takes place in the DC Comics’ expanded universe and features cameos of DC’s most recognisable superhero characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern.

In the movie, the Teen Titans notice that every superhero have their own movie, except themselves. With high hopes and aspirations, they try to grab the attention of a movie director at Warner Bros’ movie studio so they can have their very own movie, but they’re not treated as superheroes as such because they actually haven’t done anything heroic. So, to prove their worth, the Teen Titans meet and fight their arch-nemesis – Slade (humorously mistaken for Deadpool in the movie), but Slade isn’t interest in fighting a “bunch of sidekicks and half a robot”, he’s more interested in world domination. Will the Teen Titans get their own movie? and more importantly, will they save Earth?

On 23rd June, the movie had its first screening at Vidcon, a convention for internet video producers in Anaheim, California. The movie had its press day on Sunday 1st July at the Warner Bros. Studio Lot in Burbank.

DC Super Hero Girls Animated Series Character Designs Released New Show Coming To Cartoon Network USA This Year

DC Super Hero Girls Animated Series Character Designs Released New Show Coming To Cartoon Network USA This Year

In May 2017, Cartoon Network USA, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation announced a new animated series called DC Super Hero Girls, today (22nd May 2018), DC Comics has released a image featuring the show’s main characters along with the show’s logo. The new animated series is due to premiere on Cartoon Network USA later this year. The brand new animated show originated from a YouTube short animation series which started in 2015 and is also based on the DC Super Hero Girls: Super Hero High special.

According to the newly released artwork, the new show will be having a completely different look compared to the animated shorts and the Super Hero High special that came before it, with a different art style and new character designs, this is because Emmy award–winning producer Lauren Faust is working on the show as a producer and character designer, she’s known for her work on Cartoon Network’s Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends and most recently Hasbro’s and DHX Media’s animated series – My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Sam Register – the president of Warner Bros’ Animation and creator of Cartoon Network’s Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi will be working on the show’s production team as executive producer.

The new series follows not-so-typical teenagers Diana, Kara and Barbara better known by their superhero names Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Batgirl who attend a school for superheroes. While not at school, they’re protecting the city of Metropolis from some of the most fearsome school-aged supervillians of the DC Comics Universe. However, being a young superhero isn’t easy, especially as they have to balance their time between a social life, their families, their studies and saving the city. Apart from the fact the characters are superheroes, they’re still typical teenagers. Other characters from the DC Comics universe featured in the show include Bumblebee, Zatanna, Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern), Katana and Harley Quinn.
