Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2017 Cartoon Network Nominations

Two Cartoon Network shows have been nominated in the “Favourite Cartoon” category for Nickelodeon’s 2017 Kids Choice Awards. Both Cartoon Network’s The Amazing World of Gumball and Warner Bros. Animation’s Teen Titans Go! have been nominated for the award. The Amazing World of Gumball and Teen Titans Go! will face competition from animated shows that air on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons including SpongeBob SquarePants, Alvin!!! and the Chipmunks, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Loud House.

The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is an annual awards ceremony event where children from around the world can vote for their favourite TV shows, movies and music. The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is now in its 29th year; this year’s awards ceremony will be held at The Forum in Los Angeles, on 11th March 2017 and will be hosted by WWE wrestler – John Cena.

Voting is now open on Nickelodeon UK’s Kids Choice Awards website (and other Nickelodeon websites around the world), all other nominations and categories are listed on the page linked below. Please vote, especially if The Amazing World of Gumball or Teen Titans Go! is your favourite cartoon.

The Lego Batman Movie Cast And Crew Live Chat 22nd January

Tomorrow (22/01/2017), Lego will be hosting a live chat and Q&A session with the cast & crew of the upcoming Lego Batman Movie. The session will feature Lego Batman’s voice actor – Will Arnett, as well as director Chris McKay and movie producers Dan Lin, Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. The Lego Batman Movie is produced by Cartoon Network’s sister company – Warner Bros. and is animated by Australian animation studio – Animal Logic. The movie will be released in cinemas in Denmark (Lego’s homeland) on Thursday 9th February, followed by the United States the next day on Friday 10th February.

The live event will be streamed on YouTube at 7.30pm GMT/2.30pm ET/11.30am PT tomorrow, people are able to ask questions on the event’s page on Facebook.

Toonami France, the channel of DC Comics and Cartoon Network superheroes and also Japanese anime will be available on French DTH (Direct-to-Home) satellite television provider – Canal (formerly branded Canalsat) from tomorrow (17/01/2016) on channel 164. Also tomorrow at 6.30pm, Toonami France will be premiering the much-anticipated anime series – Dragon Ball Super. Toonami airs action animation from Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios including Justice League and Ben 10.
