From The Turner UK Press Release: Cartoon Network Greenlights Season Two of Mighty Magiswords

Turner’s Cartoon Network has announced the greenlight on production for the second season of Mighty Magiswords, which has already proven to be a hit since launching in the US last year. Mighty Magiswords follows the adventures of Prohyas and Vambre, a sibling team of “Warriors for Hire” who embark on heroic quests using outrageously funny swords called Magiswords. The first season of Mighty Magiswords is set to premiere in the UK on Monday 10th April on Cartoon Network.

Mighty Magiswords is produced at Cartoon Network Studios and created by Kyle A. Carrozza (The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water). Season two of Mighty Magiswords will find Prohyas and Vambre embarking on epic adventures and even more hilarious quests in pursuit of the latest and greatest Magiswords to add to their coveted collections.

The top-ranked series premiered in the US in September 2016 as the number one animated series to launch in Q4 with kids 6 – 11 and all key boys, while also ranking as Cartoon Network’s top show in October. Following the November release of the MagiMobile app in the US, set to launch later this summer in the UK, Mighty Magiswords has ranked as a Top 3 Cartoon Network original on VOD. MagiMobile ranked as top 5 App overall on iTunes while charting two million downloads and 20 million swords collected.

Season one of Mighty Magiswords launches in the UK on Monday 10th April on Cartoon Network.
