Cartoon Network USA 25th Anniversary Video

This Sunday (1st October), Cartoon Network will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The channel first launched in the United States on 1st October 1992 and it was the first 24-hour network that’s purely dedicated to animation. Even to this day it’s still expanding worldwide, with new animated (and animation related live action) programming recently made in several countries including the United Kingdom, France, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Denmark, India, South Korea, Australia, Philippines and Mexico, channel launches in several countries and new languages and the further expansion of digital services including live streaming and video on-demand.

Yesterday (28/09/2017), Cartoon Network’s owners – Turner uploaded an amazing animated short video onto YouTube featuring a plethora of the channel’s most recognisable characters over the past 25 years all tightly squeezed into a small box, then they all break free to form Cartoon Network’s 25th anniversary logo. A New Tooncast Presentation Reel Featuring Classic Cartoon Characters

Argentina/Brazil based graphics agency Le Cube have developed a sizzle presentation reel for Cartoon Network Latin America’s classic cartoon sister channel, Tooncast. The presentation reel has a series of bumpers that feature classic Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network characters, such as Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, Edd and Plank from Ed, Edd and Eddy, Dick Dastardly and Muttley, Dexter and Dee Dee from Dexter’s Laboratory and Samurai Jack.

It’s not everyday when you get to see Superman and Samurai Jack fight Mojo Jojo, Dee Dee and Cow from Cow and Chicken on a trampoline together and Johnny Bravo trying to catch Penelope Pitstop’s attention.
