Angelo Rules Season Four Coming Soon To Cartoon Network Feeds In EMEA And Asia-Pacific

London-based children’s television producer and distributor – CAKE Entertainment has announced that Cartoon Network feeds (and other kids channels operated by Turner) in selected markets across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) will be airing new episodes from Angelo Rules season four in 2018. Angelo Rules follows the titular 11-year-old boy who can mastermind any plan to get himself and his friends – Sherwood and Lola out of trouble.

The show is based on the French book series Comment Faire Enrager written by Sylvie de Mathuisieulx and illustrated by Sébastien Diologent. The Angelo Rules animated TV show is produced in collaboration with French animation studio TeamTO, CAKE, Teletoon+, France Télévisions and Super RTL. Angelo Rules season four will consist of 52 episodes with a 11-minute runtime.

The show’s target demographic is children aged between 6-12 years old, and so far the show has aired in more than 100 countries.

Gulli In France Acquires Free TV Rights To Adventure Time And The Amazing World Of Gumball

Lagardère Active and France Télévisions, the owners of French children’s channel, Gulli, have acquired the free TV broadcasting rights for Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball. Gulli is a free-to-air channel available on France’s TNT Digital Terrestrial service. Both The Amazing World of Gumball and Adventure Time will air on Gulli from 2016.

Pierre Branco, VP & General Manager for Turner for Southern Europe and Africa, made this statement (translated) about the Gumball and Adventure Time broadcasting deal:

“The arrival of Cartoon Network Studios productions on free-to-air is a tremendous opportunity for Turner. This allows us to expose the incredible creativity of our show creators and the talent of our teams. It also offers our properties an additional exposure window which will benefit the development of our franchises in France. We are confident that our original productions will meet a huge success with Gulli’s viewers as it’s already the case on Cartoon Network.”
