OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes New Show Premieres On Cartoon Network UK Tomorrow 9th October
Tomorrow (09/10/2017) at 6.30pm, Cartoon Network UK will be premiering Cartoon Network Studios’ latest show – OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes. The show is created by the former supervising director of Steven Universe – Ian Jones-Quartey. OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes is an animated action-comedy about the show’s titular character – a young boy named K.O. who has the aspiration to become the world’s greatest hero. In order to achieve his goal he’ll have to “level up”, his optimism gives him the drive he needs and having that kind of attitude is half the battle. K.O. meets his new friends – Rad and Enid at his new job at Gar’s Bodega and Hero Supply. Gar’s Bodega is located Lakewood Plaza Turbo, a shopping centre that is under constant attack by robots coming from the Boxmore factory from over the street, which is and owned and ran by the plaza’s main antagonist and business rival – Lord Boxman.
K.O. is a very helpful and cheerful kid and would do anything to protect his friends and the plaza, although he hasn’t got the strength to do so yet, he certainly has the determination, courage (and wackiness) to do so. The show is inspired by video games especially beat-em’-ups and RPG’s, also a brand new OK K.O. video game called OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes will soon be released for PlayStation 4, XBOX One and PC.
To find out more about OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes, check out the new OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes section on the Cartoon Network UK website: http://www.cartoonnetwork.co.uk/show/ok-ko-lets-be-heroes, there’s animated shorts, videos introducing the show’s main characters and a new web browser game – Parking Lot Wars.
