Carnaval

Cartoon Network Latin America will celebrate Carnaval with episodes of Steven Universe, Clarence, and Adventure Time from Monday 8th February at 10am Colombia, 11am Argentina/Mexico/Chile. Carnaval celebrations will end with a marathon on Sunday 14th February airing from 10am Colombia and 12pm Argentina/Chile/Mexico.

Back to School

The Cartoon Network Latin America Argentina sub-feed will be holding back to school marathons from Monday 22nd February, airing Monday to Friday at 5pm, with a marathon on Wednesday 27th February at 11am.

Cine Cartoon: Hotel Transylvania

The Genndy Tartakovsky (creator of Dexter’s Laboratory and Samurai Jack) directed movie – Hotel Transylvania will premiere on Friday 19th February, at 8pm Argentina/Chile/Colombia and 9pm Mexico.

Cartoon Network Latin America Viewing Ratings

According to Brazilian TV viewing rating company IBOPE and ANMTV, Cartoon Network Latin America was the most popular channel for children aged between 4-11 years old in Chile, Mexico and Peru. Cartoon Network Brazil was also the most popular children’s channel for this age group. In Argentina, Cartoon Network was the most watched children’s channel for ages 4-11 years old for the second quarter of 2015. Cartoon Network viewing ratings have been helped thanks to American productions such as Regular Show and Adventure Time, European productions such as The Amazing World of Gumball and local productions such as Irmão do Jorel/Hermano de Jorel/Jorel’s Brother, Turma da Mônica/Monica y su Pandilla/Monica’s Gang and A-CQ/La CQ/The CQ. Also special features such as Outra Semana no Cartoon/Otra Semana en Cartoon/Another Week in Cartoons also attracted viewers.

Cartoon Network Brazil’s highlights are as follows:

– New Show: Sonic Boom premieres on 5th June at 4.30pm.

– New Season: Power Rangers Dino Charge (Power Rangers Season 22) every Monday from 1st June at 3.30pm.

– New Programming Block: A new programming block called Cartoon Power, combining action and comedy shows, including Steven Universe, Adventure Time and The Powerpuff Girls, will air Monday to Friday at 3pm and on Saturdays at 12pm.

– New Episodes: New episodes of Clarence, Teen Titans Go!, Steven Universe, Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa, every Monday, from 8pm.

– New Movie: Over the Hedge on 19th June at 8pm.

Boomerang Brazil’s highlights are as follows:

– More episodes of Mr Bean: The Animated Series from 1st June, running Monday to Friday, finishing off the current run of episodes.

– Special: Turma Coragem (Courage Gang), featuring Monica’s Gang, LazyTown, The Adventures of Hello Kitty and Friends as well as Barbie and Monster High films, running between 1st and 8th June at 9am with a marathon on 7th June starting at 10am.

– New Movie: Johnny Bravo Goes To Bollywood premiering on 2nd June at 12pm.

Tooncast Brazil and Latin America’s highlights are as follows:

– Looney Tunes Marathons: Monday to Friday, at 3pm and on Saturdays and Sundays at 8 am (rerun at 8pm) from 1st June.

– New Show: Irmão do Jorel/Hermano de Jorel (Jorel’s Brother) currently airing on Cartoon Network Brazil will also air on Tooncast from 6th June at 6.30am with repeats at 6.30pm

– Mike, Lu and Og Anniversary Marathon: On 9th June at 8am, repeated at 8pm.

– Movie: Ed, Edd n Eddy’s Big Picture Show will air on 26th June at 9am, repeated at 9pm.
