Over the past 29 episodes, the show has featured interviews with Greg Cipes (voice of Beast Boy from Teen Titans Go!); John Fang (executive producer of Ben 10); Jeremy Shada (voice of Finn), John DiMaggio (voice of Jake) and Olivia Olson (voice of Marceline) all from Adventure Time; Ian Jones-Quartey (creator of OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes); Julia Pott (creator of Summer Camp Island); Diego Molano (creator of Victor and Valentino); Philip Solomon (voice of Craig from Craig of the Creek); McKenzie Atwood (host of the Steven Universe podcast), Estelle Darlings (voice of Garnet from Steven Universe) and also Rebecca Sugar (creator of Steven Universe). The show has also featured Cartoon Network’s events from this year’s SXSW festival and also at San Diego Comic Con, also new show sneak peeks of Craig of the Creek, Summer Camp Island, Infinity Train and Victor and Valentino along with the sneak peek of the Adventure Time Minecraft special – Diamonds and Lemons.

Cartoon Network This Week Episode 29 Adventure Time Final Voice Session
This week’s episode of Cartoon Network This Week is all about the final voice acting session of Adventure Time, the show’s after party and a look at the show from the perspective of the show’s cast. Be warned, this episode will contain spoilers, so if you haven’t already done so (if possible), watch the Adventure Time finale on the Cartoon Network app in the United States, international audiences will have to wait until the finale airs in their respective countries.
The episode starts off with Willow Smith singing the Adventure Time theme for the final episode – Come Along With Me, she also voices Beth – The Pup Princess. Then Sam shows the waving snail on to of Finn and Jake’s treehouse in the final episode of Adventure Time, as last week’s episode of Cartoon Network This Week was all about the snail that features in every episode of Adventure Time. In the episode, Jeremy Shada (voice of Finn), John DiMaggio (voice of Jake), Olivia Olsen (voice of Marceline) look back through the history of the series, they were amazed about the amount of support from the show’s fans and look back to the first Adventure Time panel at San Diego Comic-Con, while at the convention they were impressed by the costumes of Adventure Time cosplayers. This was followed by the actual voice acting session with Kent Osborne (Adventure Time’s Head of Story), Tom Kenny (voice of Ice King and Gunter the Penguin), John DiMaggio and Jeremy Shada.
After the voice acting segment, is the after party, the centerpiece of the party was an cake featuring all the main characters from Adventure Time, production crew and voice acting talent of both past and present were invited to the final celebration, the show’s supervising director throughout the whole course of the series – Kelly Crews makes a speech about the show’s voice talent. John DiMaggio describes Jake’s voice as his own voice but with a hug around it, the show’s creator – Pendleton Ward gives him a hug. The voice of Tree Trunks – Polly Lou Livingston joined in the party via video call. Cartoon Network’s executive of current series – Conrad Montgomery describes the show as “always adventurous, always interesting” and has said that working on the show made him a better person, this segment ends with Pendleton Ward saying thanks to everyone.
The episode concludes with Sam, on behalf of the whole Cartoon Network team, he says “How do we feel about the end of Adventure Time?”, this was followed by a clip of Lemongrab saying (or rather, yelling) his infamous catchphrase – UNACCEPTABLE!. Adventure Time maybe over (at least in the form of a show), but the fun will never end.

New Adventure Time comics: BOOM! Studios will be releasing “Adventure Time: Season 11” in comic-book form in the United States in October 2018, although this may not be considered canon (it’s still 100% authorised by Cartoon Network), but it will offer some extra closure of what could of happened with Finn, Jake and friends after the events of the finale.

Adventure Time Finale Come Along With Me Soundtrack And Adventure Time: The Final Seasons DVD To Be Released 4th September
Cartoon Network USA has announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack for the four-part finale of Adventure Time – Come Along With Me. The “Adventure Time: Come Along With Me Soundtrack” which will be available for digital download and streaming services the day after the show’s finale airs on the Cartoon Network USA television channel (4th September). The soundtrack will also be available for pre-order from Saturday 1st September.
The soundtrack release will feature over 20 tracks from the show’s finale, which includes original music by composer Tim Kiefer, a new song by Rebecca Sugar and the full-length version of Ashley Eriksson’s “Island Song” (aka Come Along With Me). The soundtrack also features artwork by Candice House and JJ Harrison. In addition to the soundtrack’s digital release, there will be a special edition vinyl LP release by Mondo which will be released this Autumn, the LP will cost $25 USD.
Yesterday (27th August) Entertainment Weekly has published four new images from the show’s finale on their website, which can be viewed on the link below, from the images, we can see Princess Bubblegum in a heroic pose, Ice King fighting Finn, Jake hiding in Finn’s hat and Finn riding Jake in the shape of a horse.
According to entertainment news site – Entertainment Tonight – singer-actress (and daughter of actor – Will Smith) Willow Smith will be guest voicing in the show’s finale. Willow will be voicing a character named Beth, which is the tall yellow character (with a striking resemblance to Jake) in the image below:
Last night (27th August) was the screening of Adventure Time’s finale in Los Angeles, there was also a Q&A session with special guests including Olivia Olson (voice of Marceline), Jeremy Shada (voice of Finn) and Adam Muto (Adventure Time’s showrunner and executive producer), the Q&A session was moderated by Dan Casey from digital entertainment news website – Nerdist. Fans attended the special farewell event wearing Adventure Time costumes and clothes.
Ahead of the Adventure Time: The Final Seasons U.S. DVD release, which will also be released on the day after the finale’s premiere (4th September), media news website – IndieWire has released an exclusive clip from the DVD’s special features, the clip is an animatic from the Elements miniseries episode – “Winter Light”. The Adventure Time: The Final Seasons DVD will have every episode from seasons 8, 9 and 10.
The show’s finale – Adventure Time: The Ultimate Adventure (aka Come Along With Me) will air on Cartoon Network USA on Monday 3rd September at 6pm ET/PT.
