Cartoon Network Studios Renews Ben 10 For A Fourth Season
Today (10th January), Cartoon Network Studios has announced that they’ve renewed the popular animated sci-fi franchise Ben 10 for a fourth season, which means its still “hero time” at least for the foreseeable future, Ben 10 season four will debut in 2020. In the new season, Ben, his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max will travel to different locations all over the world including Italy, Japan and Mexico. Season four will keep fans entertained with new alien transformations and alien battles, also Ben will find a special key that will upgrade his Omnitrix to add “Omni-Kix” armor enhancements to his aliens giving him some extra defence in battle.
Ben 10 is currently in its third season, more episodes will be airing later in January on Cartoon Network feeds in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, the United States and Latin America will follow in Feburary and the Asia-Pacific region in March. There’s plenty in the third season for fans to get excited about including new aliens, vehicles and villains and the debut of a new character that originated from the original series of Ben 10 before the reboot – Kevin 11, who will be Ben’s 11-year-old nemesis in upcoming episodes. Kevin 11 developed a custom version of the Omnitrix called the “Anti-trix” of which he can activate to produce alternative versions of Ben 10’s aliens. Season three will have a lot of travelling too, as Ben and his family will go on trips around the world on the new “Omni-Copter” and they will travel to Asia, Europe and South America.
In the third quarter of 2018, Ben 10 was watched by 128 million people with 56 million children watching the show worldwide. The show is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and created and executive produced by Man of Action Entertainment (Big Hero 6, Generator Rex, Mega Man: Fully Charged, Bakugan Battle Planet), with John Fang (Mixels, Generator Rex) as executive producer.
