During his time at the studio, Sam enjoys free pancakes and cereal, checks out the studio’s very own video game arcade, meets up with Max, the voice of Baby Panda on We Bare Bears in the recording studio and plays ping-pong with Michaela Dietz, the voice of Amethyst on Steven Universe.

Also, in this week’s episode, OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes executive producers – Ian Jones-Quartey and Toby Jones gives viewers a little insight into the first batch of twelve episodes from the show’s second season, in these twelve episodes, viewers will find out what happens to Lord Boxman and there’s going to be some special episodes with side-characters including KO’s brainy friend – Dendy and Red Action – a cyborg from the future who lives in the show’s present day.

Cartoon Network Studios has a tradition to make character piñatas from each show it produces, as well as show artwork which is on display in the corridors of the studio. At the studio, there’s a plaque commemorating the opening of the Cartoon Network Studios building by Joseph Barbera. Joseph Barbera was the co-owner of animation studio – Hanna-Barbera, which later became known as Cartoon Network Studios. Another CN Studios tradition is the graffiti stairwell, this where the crew from each show can leave their mark by drawing their own cartoon characters.

There’s no Rupert The Seal this week, he deserves a well-earned rest.

Cartoon Network 25th Anniversary Mural In Rome, Italy

To celebrate Cartoon Network’s 25th Anniversary on 1st October, a special Cartoon Network mural has been painted all over Turner Italy’s headquarters located in central Rome. Street artists omino71 and Mr.Klevra took on the challenge to cover the building with some of the channel’s most famous cartoon characters throughout its twenty-five year history while also spoofing one of the city’s* most famous art pieces – Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam.

The mural features characters from Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Cow and Chicken, Courage The Cowardly Dog, We Bare Bears, Regular Show, Ben 10, Samurai Jack, The Amazing World of Gumball, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and many more. Staying in with the creation theme, portraits of William Hanna, Joseph Barbera and Tex Avery can be seen in God’s arm and Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry, Fred Flintstone, Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote can be seen on Adam’s arm, a reference to the creative origins of the channel which also includes the history of Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros. Animation. The mural can be seen at Turner Italy’s headquarters at 18-20 via dei Magazzini Generali located in the Ostiense Quarter.

* Technically it’s in the Sistine Chapel in the enclave of Vatican City which is surrounded by central Rome, from a tourist’s point-of-view and in an unofficial sense its classed as part of the city.
