Cartoon Network Partners With Brazilian Airline Azul For Powerpuff Girls Branded Plane

Turner Latin America and Azul Airlines, the largest domestic airline company in Brazil have partnered up for a specially designed Powerpuff Girls branded airplane. Now Azul customers can take to the skies with Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, which will be flying as shown on the plane’s fuselage. The branded plane is an Embraer 195, with the Brazilian civil aircraft registration code PR-AIQ. In partnership with Sky Brasil, Azul has a livestream of more than forty television channels, including Cartoon Network on its in-flight entertainment system, which is available on most of their flights.

Gustavo Diament, General Manager of Turner Brazil made this statement (translated) about the Powerpuff Girls branding partnership with Azul:

“We are proud to offer a different experience for fans of the series, they can now fly in the company of Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup.”

Claudia Fernandes, Director of Marketing and Communication from Azul (translated) also made this statement:

“We are delighted with the partnership between Azul and Cartoon Network. With the live broadcast of Cartoon Network in most of its aircraft, the addition of the Powerpuff Girls on the fuselage makes it an even more special experience of those who travel with us”

Cartoon Network USA/Cartoon Network Canada and McDonalds USA/Canada have teamed up to offer Powerpuff Girls toys in every Happy Meal. The new promotion to advertise the newly rebooted show started today (14/06/2016). Throughout the promotion, there’s six Powerpuff Girls toys to collect, including the girls themselves: Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup as well as their arch-nemesis, Mojo Jojo.

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are saving the day in an all-new, reimagined THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, currently airing on Cartoon Network! Families across the United States and Canada can join in the fun on Tuesday 14th June with the kick-off of THE POWERPUFF GIRLS Happy Meal promotion, available at participating McDonald’s. Superhero sisters Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, known to their fellow citizens of Townsville as The Powerpuff Girls, will each have their own exclusive Happy Meal toy! Fans can collect all six Powerpuff Girls toys, which also features everyone’s favourite supervillain, Mojo Jojo.

Juggling school, homework and a regular parade of villains is no easy task, but THE POWERPUFF GIRLS are more than up to the challenge. Armed with supercool superpowers and some topnotch teamwork, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup show their hometown and the world that it is possible to save the world before bedtime.

Yesterday (30/05/2016), UK DTH (Direct-To-Home) satellite television provider – Sky, opened the Sky Kids Café at The Vinyl Factory in London. Open only for a limited time between Monday 30th May through to Wednesday 1st June, The Sky Kids Café offers children the exciting chance to step into the worlds of some of their favourite TV shows, which are now available through the new Sky Kids app. The cafe provides an interactive experience as its an opportunity to try out the new Sky Kids App and to watch some of the shows it has to offer.

The café features a Scooby-Doo haunted house as an imaginative play area, where kids can solve mysteries and meet Boomerang’s very own Scooby-Doo! The café also features Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants’ pineapple home and Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom.

The Sky Kids app features thousands of episodes of kids’ favourite shows in an app that’s just for them. It features 16 of the 20 highest-rated shows (including top shows on Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito), all available on demand and gives them their own profile with shows tailored to their age. Sky Kids is available to download now from both Google Play and Apple’s App Store. The app will work on 3G/4G and Wi-Fi and is available at no extra cost for customers with the Sky Family or Variety bundle or Sky Q.
