Today (13th June), Cartoon Network USA has shared a video on social media featuring a specially made stop-motion intro featuring Funko POP! vinyl toy versions of Steven and the Crystal Gems. Also featured in the video is the Mr. Universe van playset from McFarlane Toys which also includes a small figure version of Steven’s dad – Greg. According to Cartoon Network, there should be some exciting Steven Universe coming soon, this could be the new episodes that are due to be announced, also Cartoon Network Enterprises already announced last Month that more Steven Universe merchandise will be coming soon.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Powerpuff Girls as a full series, Cartoon Network UK has partnered up with UK online fashion retailer – Daisy Street to launch a Powerpuff Girls inspired clothing collection for Spring/Summer 2018.

The fashion brand will launch a retro-themed range of Powerpuff Girls clothing including athleisure wear, graphic T-shirts and crop tops the features the superheroine trio – Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. The collection is now available at British high street retailer – Topshop and via ASOS and Daisy Street’s very own website – http://www.daisystreet.co.uk. This is also the first time the online fashion retailer has partnered with a children’s entertainment brand to collaborate on a fashion collection.

Chloe Lockley-Middleton, Britain’s Next Top Model Finalist has been chosen as the model to help promote the new Powerpuff Girls collection. Daisy Street is mostly aimed at the millennial young woman demographic. The website offers the latest fashions straight from the catwalk and at an affordable price, before it reaches the high street.

The super cute, super fierce collection coincides with the 20th anniversary of The Powerpuff Girls and marks the first time that the online retailer has partnered with a children’s entertainment brand on a fashion collaboration.

Infamous construction toy company – Lego has released some information and images regarding a brand new playset toy range based on Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls. The new playsets are expected to be released in August 2018. Lego announced the new playsets in a press release during New York Toy Fair in February, along with the press release, Lego also released some images of the brand new Powerpuff Girls minifigures.

The two new Powerpuff Girls playsets are called “Bubbles Playground Showdown” and “Mojo Jojo Strikes”. As the name suggests, the “Bubbles Playground Showdown”, features a fully equipped playground and Bubbles herself, her favourite toy – Octi and also one of the villains from the show – Princess Morbucks complete with a mech suit. The “Mojo Jojo Strikes” playset features Blossom, Buttercup, Donnie and of course, Mojo Jojo, also in the set is a jewelery shop and a Ice Cream Parlor, Mojo Jojo’s getaway car and other accessories such as a skateboard and the Powerpuff Hotline mobile phone.
