To promote the release of the Show Dogs movie coming to UK cinemas on Friday 25th May, Cartoon Network UK is running a competition for viewers to win a Nintendo Switch games console and a Show Dogs goodie bag. To enter the competition visit the Show Dogs competition page on the Cartoon Network UK website (http://www.cartoonnetwork.co.uk/showdogs), watch the “Pawsome Pooch Pageant” video and pick your favourite talented dog.

The main prize winner shall win: one Nintendo Switch console with two Joy-Con controllers and a Show Dogs goodie bag which includes the following: a Show Dogs branded hoodie, a Show Dogs branded pair of sunglasses, a Show Dogs branded bandana, a natural card which includes one paw print charm bracelet, a 250ml bottle of Little Beast Pet Spritz organic pet coat moisturiser; an 100g Little Beast organic pet shampoo bar and a 59ml bottle of Natural Dog Company Paw Soother pet paw moisturiser.

Kral Şakir – Cartoon Network Turkey’s first-ever original animated series has now made its debut on the big screen, the movie was released in cinemas across Turkey yesterday (11th May). In the movie – Kral Şakir Oyun Zamanı (Game Time), a portal between the real world and the video games on Necati’s mobile phone opens. This leads to nothing but video game misadventures with Şakir, his family and family friend – Necati. In addition to the movie’s release, Cartoon Network Turkey is running a competition for viewers to win a trip to the IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park in Dubai, which is known for its Cartoon Network themed zone.

Cartoon Network UK Teams Up With Paramount Pictures To Celebrate The Launch Of The Sherlock Gnomes Movie

Cartoon Network UK has partnered up with Paramount Pictures to promote the new animated movie – Sherlock Gnomes. Sherlock Gnomes will be previewed in cinemas this weekend and will be released nationwide on Friday 11th May. To celebrate the launch of Sherlock Gnomes, Cartoon Network UK is inviting kids to get creative and colour in a giant wall featuring the characters from the new movie as well as a giant gnome, plus there will be an opportunity to meet and take photos with the characters in costume and even exclusive giveaways. This is the first time Turner has included events as part of their promotional campaigns. The promotion isn’t just exclusive to the UK, the Sherlock Gnomes pan-European deal with Paramount Pictures also includes ad placements on Turner’s on-air and digital properties in France, Italy, Spain and Germany.

The first Sherlock Gnomes colouring and meet the characters event will be held on Saturday 5th May at the Bluewater Shopping Centre near Dartford, Kent, just outside Southeast London, the second event will be held the next day on Sunday 6th May at the Westfield London Shopping Centre in White City, London.

In addition to the two events this weekend, Cartoon Network has also created a co-branded Dangers of the Garden promotion which will be featured on-air during the run-up to the film’s theatrical release. Alongside the on-air promotion on the channel, there’s a digital promotion for the film on the Cartoon Network website, which features games based on the movie, including memory and spot the difference games as well as paper crafts and colouring activities.

Sherlock Gnomes is an action‐adventure detective chase across London, as Gnomeo and Juliet look to the legendary Sherlock Gnomes to solve a big case. The movie is a sequel to the successful Gnomeo and Juliet movie released in 2011 and is loosely based around the literary character – Sherlock Holmes and book series written by Arthur Conan Doyle. The movie is directed by Academy Award nominee and Annie Award winner John Stevenson, known for directing Dreamworks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda.

Turner’s leading kids’ TV channel Cartoon Network is travelling into the great un-gnome to celebrate the launch of Paramount Pictures’ Sherlock Gnomes, the follow-up to the hit animated film Gnomeo and Juliet. The pan-European deal will include ad placements across all Turner on-air and digital properties throughout the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Germany.

To celebrate the Sherlock Gnomes film launch previewing this weekend and released nationwide from 11th May, Turner is inviting kids to get creative and colour in a giant wall featuring all their favourite characters from the film as well as a giant gnome plus meet and take photos with the costume character stars and walk away with exclusive giveaways. This partnership marks the first time Turner has included events as part of their promotional offering.

Turner has also created a co-branded Dangers of the Garden promotion to be featured on-air in the run up to the film release. Alongside the on-air promotion, there will be a regional digital promotion for the film across the Cartoon Network website, which will feature fun garden gnome-themed games across their hugely popular games section of their site, from memory to paper crafts and spot the difference to colouring in activities.
