Bliss, also known as the fourth and original Powerpuff Girl is back in a brand new special 22-minute episode coming to Cartoon Network UK this Friday (22nd June) at 8pm. Britain’s Got Talent judge – Alesha Dixon has returned to voice Bliss once again for the UK variant of the Never Been Blissed special. Just like Alesha in the UK, many guest celebrities voice actresses have returned to voice Bliss, including Wengie in Australia, Claudia Tagbo in France, Toya Delazy in South Africa and also Olivia Olson in the original U.S. dub.

Bliss is the older sister of Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup and unlike her younger sisters, she was created using Chemical W instead of Chemical X during Professor Utonium’s ongoing experiments to create the perfect little girl. Bliss has returned from outer space, which was where she went at the end of the Power of Four special, she has returned to track down a deadly parasitic alien on the loose in Townsville called “The Sporde”, it’s up to The Powerpuff Girls to stop it before the big school dance and before it turns Bliss’s new crush – Logan into a terrifying monster.

The long-lost fourth Powerpuff Girl is back and stronger than ever on Cartoon Network this summer! Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon returns as the voice of Bliss in the The Powerpuff Girls special: Never Been Blissed. Bliss is the teenage sister to Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, who has returned from outer space to help her superhero sisters hunt down a deadly alien on the loose in Townsville. The Powerpuff Girls special: Never Been Blissed featuring Alesha Dixon premieres on Friday 22nd June at 8pm on Cartoon Network.

Alesha Dixon’s character, Bliss first made an epic entrance onto the screens last October and now she’s back for a special 22-minute episode, The Powerpuff Girls: Never Been Blissed. The episode sees Bliss and her sisters track down a deadly alien called ‘The Sporde’. With this parasitic alien on the loose, it’s up to Bliss, Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup to stop it before the big school dance, and before it turns Bliss’ new crush Logan into a deadly monster.

This year, Cartoon Network will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Powerpuff Girls, the full series premiered on Cartoon Network in the United States on 18th November 1998, the show eventually became one of Cartoon Network’s most iconic animated series appealing to both girls and boys all over the world. The animated series followed the daily-lives of three unlikely superheroes, three kindergarten-aged (school-aged in the 2016 reboot) girls named Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, it’s their duty to save Townsville and the world from destruction before bedtime while still trying to live a normal childhood. The 20th anniversary celebrations will begin next month with the global rollout of new episodes, events and products that will continue into 2019. As seen in the Cartoon Network USA 2018 preview video, Bliss will also be returning to the show this year.

The original series was created by Craig McCracken who later created another Cartoon Network hit Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends, for the rebooted series which launched in 2016, Nick Jennings and Bob Boyle serve as executive producers.

Today (27/10/2017) at the opening day of MCM Comic Con in London, Cartoon Network UK has announced the guest voice actress that will be voicing the fourth Powerpuff Girl – Bliss in the five-part Power Of Four special this Sunday (29th October) at 3.30pm only on Cartoon Network in the UK. Britain’s Got Talent judge – Alesha Dixon will be voicing the character in the UK and Ireland version of the special. A total of fifteen voice actresses in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Europe) region and Australia have voiced the new character.

In The Powerpuff Girls: Power of Four special, the long-lost older sister of The Powerpuff Girls – Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup returns to Townsville to learn the true strength of her powers and to be reunited as a family again. She was created by Professor Utonium years before The Powerpuff Girls came into existence in an on-going experiment to create the perfect little girl, but Bliss was far too powerful for own good and went away. Bliss soon finds out that she has three younger sisters that shares the same personality traits as her and she’s also made of sugar, spice and everything nice, but there’s only one slight difference that separates her from her sisters. Finally united as a team, Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup and Bliss will work together and save the day before bedtime.

Alesha Dixon was also the special guest at the opening of the Powerpuff Girls pop-up emporium in London in June this year, before her role as judge on Britain’s Got Talent, she was also a singer in the R&B/garage music girl group – Mis-Teeq and was a judge on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Alesha Dixon also appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain programme this morning (27/10/2017) to announce her voice acting role as the voice of the fourth Powerpuff Girl:
