Cartoon Network Latin America Announces New Original Production – Guau Created By Alexis Moyano

Cartoon Network Latin America and Argentine illustrator, animator and graphic designer – Alexis Moyano have teamed up to produce a 11-minute special called “Guau” – (“Woof” or “Wow” in Spanish). The special will feature comedic animated stories with live-action and animated scenes featuring dogs. On the project, Alexis Moyano collaborated with Andrés Reid, production manager of Cartoon Network Latin America and Hernán La Greca, Senior Creative Director of Cartoon Network Latin America.

While talking about the show, Alexis Moyano explains that working with dogs helps him come up with new ideas, jokes and absurd situations, dogs have complex personalities, they can be an angry monster one second and then harmless and playful the next. He also explains that Cartoon Network gave him the unique opportunity to work on his personal project. Guau is only one of the latest productions to come from Cartoon Network Latin America, the region has lately become an international hotspot for animation with shows such as Oswaldo and Villainous becoming big successes and there’s many more to come in the future.
