Cartoon Network UK 25th Anniversary Party In London Last Night 13th September 2018

To celebrate Cartoon Network UK’s 25th Anniversary next Monday (17th September), the channel held a special birthday party in London and invited members of the media industry (including children’s magazine – Mega Magazine and media planning company – Guerillascope) and also a bunch of celebrities. Ashley Roberts (ex-Pussycat Dolls member), Camilla Kerslake (classical singer), Chris Robshaw (former England Team Rugby Captain), Joel Dommett (comedian and actor), Pips Taylor (TV Presenter) and Vanessa White (ex-The Saturdays pop group member) were all invited to the special party.

The party even had a large ball pit and a elaborately decorated cake featuring Cartoon Network characters including The Powerpuff Girls; The Watterson family from The Amazing World of Gumball; Rigby and Benson from Regular Show, Dexter from Dexter’s Laboratory, Apple from Apple and Onion; Finn, Jake and Lady Rainicon from Adventure Time, Johnny Bravo and the three bears from We Bare Bears – Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear.

Unikitty! UK Premiere In London Last Night 28th February 2018

Cartoon Network UK’s newest show – Unikitty! had its UK premiere last night (28th February) at the Haymarket Odeon Cinema in London in front of an audience of celebrities and also to mention, cats, loads of cats!, some even have unicorn horns, just like the eponymous Lego character from the new show – Unikitty. Celebrities at the special screening include X Factor UK finalist, singer and TV personality – Stacey Solomon, Lydia-Rose Bright from ITV’s The Only Way Is Essex, TV host and Radio DJ – Pips Taylor, YouTube Vlogger and impressionist – Noodlerella (Connie Ella Glynn) and Heart Radio DJ – Kat Shoob. The event was the UK’s first ever “cat premiere”.

Unikitty!, a brand new show, premieres on the Cartoon Network UK television channel on Monday 5th March, with new episodes airing on weekdays at 6.30pm.
