The Lego Ninjago Movie Now In Cinemas In The United States
This Friday (22/09/2017) was the U.S. premiere of The Lego Ninjago Movie which is based on Cartoon Network’s Lego Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitzu 3D CGI animated series and the Lego toy range of the same name. Ninjago is a city under constant threat by Lord Garmadon (voiced by Justin Theroux), who happens to be the father of a young ninja named Lloyd (played by Dave Franco) and the husband of Koko, Lloyd’s mom (voiced by Olivia Munn).
Lloyd is under emotional stress because the citizens of Ninjago hate him due to his connection to his evil father, but Lloyd is a force for good and is a secretly a ninja with his friends Kai (Michael Peña), Jay (Kumail Nanjiani), Nya (Abbi Jacobson), Cole (Fred Armisen) and Zane (Zach Woods). Lloyd and his ninja friends eventually confronts his father in an epic showdown. Famous martial artist and actor, Jackie Chan stars as Master Wu in the movie, the mentor and master of the six ninja.
The Lego Ninjago Movie is the third movie in “The Lego Movie” franchise, following The Lego Batman Movie which was released in cinemas in various countries between January and March this year. The movie is also produced by the same team and consists of Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Chris Miller and is made by Warner Animation Group with Australian animation studio – Animal Logic.
A video game based on the movie made by TT Games has been released alongside the U.S. theatrical release and is now available to buy and download for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Lego construction toy sets based on the movie are now available in toy stores. In the UK, The Lego Ninjago Movie will be released in cinemas on Friday 13th October.

Ben 10 Game To Be Released For Consoles And PC In November
Today (12/09/2017), London, UK based video games publisher Outright Games has announced that its brand new console and PC game based on Cartoon Network’s action animation show – Ben 10 will be released in the United States on 14th November 2017 with a European release four days earlier on 10th November. The new game will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, XBOX One and PC (Steam) platforms. A brand new game based on Adventure Time will also be released in early 2018.
In the new Ben 10 game, the player will immerse themselves in a new amazing adventure and engage in combat with the villains from the popular animated show. In the game, players will be able to discover and unlock the ten alien transformations of the Omnitrix, which will be utilised by Ben Tennyson to save the galaxy. Outright Games has signed a distribution deal with U&I Entertainment to distribute the new game for the U.S. market and with Namco Bandai to distribute the game for the European market. News about the two new games were first announced earlier this summer. Both U&I and Namco Bandai will also distribute the new Adventure Time game next year in the U.S. and Europe respectively.

Video game publishers Maximum Games and Cartoon Network Games will be releasing Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers for Nintendo’s newest console – the Nintendo Switch. The game was already released for PlayStation 4, XBOX One and Nintendo 3DS in November last year. The Nintendo Switch version will be released on Tuesday 14th November (UK) and Tuesday 31st October (USA) and is now available to pre-order from Amazon.co.uk (£29.99 GBP) and Amazon.com ($39.99 USD).
Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is a side-scrolling brawler game with solo and four-player drop-in/drop-out local multiplayer. The game features six different Cartoon Network stars: Finn & Jake (together as one playable character unit), Clarence, Steven, Gumball, Uncle Grandpa, and Rigby & Mordecai (also together as one playable character unit). The game has all the crazy humour you would expect and is full of colourful graphics, the game can be played for short period and with your friends.
