Cartoon Network USA will be airing new episodes of Steven Universe from Monday 8th May. Cartoon Network posted a short preview of what is to come in the new episodes, the preview starts off with Steven reflecting on his recent space adventures and talking with his friend Connie, then suddenly, the preview makes a dramatic and emotional turn, Sadie disappears and according to a poster as shown in the preview, Onion goes missing too. Also by the looks of things, Steven will go on a risky mission of some kind and Pearl seems very concerned. Steven says, “She wouldn’t have wanted this, but I do”, who could he possibly be referring to?

The preview ends weirdly with a child’s voice saying “Are you my dad?”, this preview certainly offers more questions than answers. Steven Universe fans will definitely have to watch the new episodes to find out more. Contrary to the belief on some news websites, these new episodes actually form part of season four and not part of season five.
