Cartoon Network India Launches School Contact Programme For 2018

Turner India, the owner and operator of Cartoon Network and its sister channel – Pogo in India has launched its 13th annual School Contact Programme (SCP). Cartoon Network’s and Pogo’s SCP is one of India’s largest school outreach programmes. One million kids from around 1,100 schools will get to enjoy fun-filled activities with Cartoon Network’s SCP theme – “Masti ki Recess” and POGO’s theme – “Fun Bhi Fit Bhi”. The SCP will be held in schools located in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Surat. Both SCP themes will include interactive games, trivia, competitions and prizes.

With Cartoon Network’s ‘Masti ki Recess’ theme, schools will have an extra break filled with fun and interactive games with Cartoon Network’s characters and shows including Ben 10, Kris from Roll No.21, Oggy from Oggy and Cockroaches and We Bare Bears.

Pogo is having a health and fitness theme this year with “Fun Bhi Fit Bhi” featuring Pogo’s popular characters and shows including Chhota Bheem, Tik Tak Tail and Grizzy and the Lemmings and for the first time, kids will get to interact with their favourite cartoons in an audio-visual led activity.

While talking about this year’s School Contact Programme, Krishna Desai, executive director and network head-kids at Turner India said:

Cartoon Network India And Pogo India Gets Ready For The New IPL Cricket Season With Roll No.21 And Chhota Bheem Specials

This year’s IPL (Indian Premier League) Cricket season kicks off this Saturday (7th April) and to prepare itself for the new season of India’s national sport, Cartoon Network India and Pogo India will be airing special cricket themed episodes of Roll No. 21 and Chhota Bheem.

The Roll No.21 cricket special – Kris Ka Six will air on Cartoon Network India on Saturday 7th April at 11am. The Chhota Bheem cricket special – Bheem Ki Googly will air on Pogo India on Sunday 8th April at 10.30am.

Cartoon Network India Launches Eight Month Long Roll No. 21 Kris Ka Funda Campaign

This year on Cartoon Network India from March to November, the hero from Roll No. 21 – Kris will be launching his very own campaign entitled “Kris Ka Funda”. Kris will be making an appearance on Cartoon Network India every weekday (Monday to Friday) at 1pm and will be sharing his tips, tricks and life hacks with his fans. The campaign will end on Kris’s birthday on Wednesday 14th November.

During March, Kris will be providing simple and effective tips during the busy school exam season. The campaign is sponsored by Britannia Treat, along with associate sponsors VIP Skybags, Cipla Activ Kidz Immuno Boosters, Mother Dairy, Kellogg’s Chocos, and presented by Chupa Chups.

Along with the on-air campaign spots, Kris will be visiting various cities around India, giving children the opportunity to meet him and to take part in fun games and competitions to win Cartoon Network prizes. Kris’s first stop on his tour will be at the Amanora Mall in Karadi, Pune on Saturday 21st March 2018.
