New Show Running Man Coming To Cartoon Network Southeast Asia And Cartoon Network Australia 11th August

On Saturday 11th August, Cartoon Network Southeast Asia and Cartoon Network Australia will be airing a brand new show – Running Man. Running Man is a brand new 3D CGI animated show based on the South Korean game show of the same name. In the show, seven competitors battle it out to become the ultimate champion, each contestant uses their super powerful skills in tense individual battles, each competitor is pushed to their limits, all leading to a final showdown with the “Devils”, a group of mysterious highly-challenging competitors. The brand new show is animated by South Korean animation and visual effects studio – Lotus and produced in collaboration with Line Friends (owned by the instant messaging service – Line) and South Korean national broadcaster – SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System).

The brand new animated series will premiere on Cartoon Network Southeast Asia on Saturday 11th August, airing weekends at 1.30pm (Singapore/Malaysia). On Cartoon Network Australia, the new show will premiere on the same day at 11.30am AEST and will air on weekends at 11.30am AEST.

To celebrate the premiere of the brand new show, Cartoon Network Southeast Asia and sister channel Oh!K (a channel that airs television shows from South Korea) are running a competition on their Facebook, every day from today (1st August) until a special “Bonus Round” on 8th August, there will be a different challenge (alternating between the Cartoon Network APAC and Oh!K Facebook pages), competition winners shall receive a Running Man mug. Five winners will be chosen for each daily challenge. Competition ends Saturday 11th August, competition open to residents of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.
