Jeff Rosenstock To Write Music For Cartoon Network’s Upcoming Show Craig Of The Creek

In an interview with New York-based music blog – Brooklyn Vegan, punk rock musician Jeff Rosenstock has announced he will be writing music for a brand new show coming soon to Cartoon Network – Craig of the Creek.

In October, last year he has released his third album – entitled “Worry.” and he’s currently on tour but in the new year, he’ll start writing music for the new show and he’s very excited about it too, as he said writing music for a cartoon is a childhood dream come true.

Not much details about Craig of the Creek has been publicly released except for a brief description and an image, the new show is set in a kid utopia of untamed wilderness. Craig, the show’s main character, and his two best friends traverse and venture through this strange land of where tribes of children reign over tree forts and dirt bike ramps. The new show is created by two Steven Universe show writers – Matt Burnett and Ben Levin.

Quote by Jeff Rosenstock from the article:

“Anyway, next year I’m going to be writing the music for a cartoon called Craig of the Creek on Cartoon Network. As you can imagine, I’m excited to write MUSIC FOR A CARTOON THAT IS A CHILDHOOD DREAM COME TRUE but it also feels like closing a chapter of being on the road constantly for two and a half years or so.”
