Shazam In Teen Titans Go!
On April Fools’ Day (1st April), Cartoon Network USA aired two brand new notable episodes – Teen Titans Go!’s “Little Elvis” and Craig of the Creek’s “Kelsey the Elder”. The Teen Titans Go! episode “Little Elvis” features a special guest superhero – Shazam. In the episode, the Teen Titans team up with Shazam (aka Billy Batson) in order to defeat the evil Mr. Mind. The episode aired the same week as the theatrical release of the superhero comedy film featuring the same superhero – Shazam! which was released in the United States and the United Kingdom on 5th April (in some countries, Shazam! was released a few days earlier. Japan is the exception, there it will be released in cinemas on the later date of 19th April).

In the Craig of the Creek episode “Kelsey the Elder” which is themed on the board game – Dungeons and Dragons, one of the creek’s elders – Barry made references to a few Cartoon Network/Hanna-Barbera shows from the past, including Dexter’s Laboratory, Swat Kats, Ed, Edd n’ Eddy, Codename: Kids Next Door, The Pirates of Dark Water and Sym-Bionic Titan.
Cartoon Network USA CN Arcade App New Games Teen Titans Smashy Piñata, Gumball’s Block Party And Steven Universe: Shattered Dreams
Today (5th April), Cartoon Network USA has uploaded a let’s play video onto their social media platforms for three brand new mini-games now available to play on the newly launched CN Arcade mini-games app. The three brand new games are Teen Titans Smashy Piñata, Gumball’s Block Party, and Steven Universe: Shattered Dreams.
In Teen Titans Smashy Piñata, it’s Beastboy’s birthday and he has to hit the piñata as high as he can, the player controls Beastboy by jumping from wall to wall and hitting the piñata a little higher each time. Players can buy candy, unlock different Beastboy animal transformations and unlock Cyborg for extra help.
In Gumball’s Block Party, the player controls Gumball (or another main character from the show) and hop over a maze of 3D blocks, the object of the game is to collect coins and move from block to block quickly before they fall. When all the characters have been unlocked, the player will get a virtual Gumball figure for their collection.
In Steven Universe: Shattered Dreams, Steven is stuck in a dreamworld. In the game, the player has to control Steven and make him jump from platform to platform avoiding any obstacles, collect food such as hot dogs, donuts and Cookie Cats and collect treasure. Also, Steven has to move quickly as a giant gem is chasing him. Steven can upgrade his abilities by buying accessories with coins collected in the game. The player will get a Steven Universe virtual figure when unlocking achievements.
