Angelo Rules Season Four Coming Soon To Cartoon Network Feeds In EMEA And Asia-Pacific
London-based children’s television producer and distributor – CAKE Entertainment has announced that Cartoon Network feeds (and other kids channels operated by Turner) in selected markets across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) will be airing new episodes from Angelo Rules season four in 2018. Angelo Rules follows the titular 11-year-old boy who can mastermind any plan to get himself and his friends – Sherwood and Lola out of trouble.
The show is based on the French book series Comment Faire Enrager written by Sylvie de Mathuisieulx and illustrated by Sébastien Diologent. The Angelo Rules animated TV show is produced in collaboration with French animation studio TeamTO, CAKE, Teletoon+, France Télévisions and Super RTL. Angelo Rules season four will consist of 52 episodes with a 11-minute runtime.
The show’s target demographic is children aged between 6-12 years old, and so far the show has aired in more than 100 countries.
Cartoon Network USA Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs The Series Fully Premieres 6th March
As mentioned in the updated Cartoon Network USA February 2017 Highlights blog post (which also overhangs into early March), a sneak peek of the upcoming Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs animated series will air on Cartoon Network USA on Monday 20th February at 6.30pm ET/PT (or see it first on the Cartoon Network App). The new animated series will fully premiere on Cartoon Network USA on Monday 6th March at 5.30pm ET/PT.
The new series is a prequel to the popular movie franchise (Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2), of a which a young Flint Lockwood has ambitions to become a respected scientist and inventor and his friend Sam Sparks has ambitions to become a meteorologist. As this series is a prequel, the events in the new show will take place before the crazy moment when food fell from the sky in Swallow Falls, a town that used to depend on sardines for its economic output. The new animated series also features many of the characters from the film including Flint’s dad, Tim; Flint’s lab assistant, Steve the monkey; Earl, the school’s busiest teacher; Manny, the head of the school’s audiovisual department; Brent, the local teenage celebrity and captain of the mascot team; and Mayor Shelbourne.
The new animated series is produced by Sony Pictures Animation in association with Teletoon (Corus Entertainment) in Canada, with DHX Media owning global television, merchandising, and non-US home entertainment distribution rights. The new show will soon air on Boomerang’s international feeds across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific regions. Initially, 26 episodes have been produced, with each episode being 22 minutes in length.

Cartoon Network France Buys Winston Steinburger And Sir Dudley Ding Dong Broadcasting Rights
Turner France has signed a broadcasting rights deal with Entertainment One (also known as eOne) for their comedy cartoon series Winston Steinburger & Sir Dudley Ding Dong. Cartoon Network France will air the first season consisting of fifty-two episodes. Broadcasting rights for the new animated show has already been acquired by several broadcasters around the world including TVE Clan in Spain and Sony Pictures Television’s Kix channel in the UK.
The sci-fi animated comedy is about a young boy named Winston Steinburger; a fearless, fun-first, thrill-seeking kid exploring the universe with the help of his hapless cat, Sir Dudley Ding Dong. Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong is created by Mike Geiger, animated by Australian animation studio Sticky Pictures and co-produced by ABC3 and Cartoon Network Canada’s operator and brand licence holder – Teletoon.
