Pogo India Andy Pirki New Show Premieres 3rd December Official Press Release
Today (27/11/2017) via a press release, Turner Asia-Pacific has officially announced a brand new exclusive show coming to Pogo – “Andy Pirki”, the new show will premiere on Pogo in India on Snday 3rd December at 9.30am with new episodes airing every Sunday. Commissioned by Cartoon Network India’s sister channel – Pogo and produced by AUM Animation Studios based in Mangaluru, India, the show is about the unusual friendship between an intelligent pink dinosaur named Andy and a child-like and not-so bright caveman named Pirki who is separated from the rest of mankind. Andy is also the last of his species and with Pirki being alone too, they become the best of friends. The show is a non-dialogue slapstick comedy, as no dubbing is required, the show could be easily spread to other international markets.
Andy Pirki has won several FICCI Frames awards, the show has won awards in 2015, 2016 and 2017 for Best Nationally Produced Animated Episode category and also awards in 2015 and 2017 in the Best International Animated Episode category.
From The Turner Asia-Pacific Press Release: Turner’s Pogo Channel Launches New Silent Slapstick Comedy Series “Andy Pirki”: Follows The Daily Escapades Of Misfits, A Dinosaur Called Andy And Pirki The Caveman
Turner India has commissioned Andy Pirki, an animated series about Andy, a pink dinosaur, and his friend Pirki, a grown-up with a heart of a child. Produced by AUM Animation Studios, the weekly show debuts exclusively on Turner’s POGO channel on Sunday, December 3.
The non-dialogue slapstick celebrates an unusual friendship between the lead characters thrown into funny situations. Andy is an intelligent pink dino and the last of his species while the simple-minded Pirki is separated from the human world. Their unique circumstances led the duo to develop a special bond and become the best of friends.

The show launch comes shortly after the debut of Tik Tak Tail in September on POGO. That series, from Mumbai-based Maya Digital Studios, follows a cute rabbit and a ferocious tiger who are constantly on the run.
