Like previous years, Adult Swim will be at San Diego Comic Con 2018, one of the world’s most popular media conventions that celebrates everything from movies, TV shows, comics, animation and much more. This year’s convention will be held between Thursday 19th and Sunday 22nd July in San Diego, Califonia, USA. However, this year’s Adult Swim’s event will be slightly different from previous years, as convention visitors will enjoy a full Adult Swim themed outdoor camping experience at Adult Swim’s very own “State Park” just outside and behind the San Diego Convention Center at 5th Avenue Landing and Convention Way.

The camping event will start on Thursday and end on Sunday, with first look programming shown at night between Thursday and Saturday. The camping park will also include fun outdoor activities including canoe races and archery competitions and there will also be wood carvers using chainsaws to make sculptures. Lockers will be available on-site to keep fan’s items safe and secure while doing activities, there will also be a Hot Dogs roaster and a S’mores Station featuring fun-size Snickers bars for hungry campers. Campers can also collect merit badges, the more they experience at the camp, the more they earn.

Campers in the park (and like other adultswim.com viewers elsewhere within the United States) will enjoy live broadcasts of Adult Swim’s FishCenter, Stupid Morning Bullshit, Williams Street Swap Shop and more, every day from 3pm PT, from Thursday to Sunday.

In addition to the fun camping experience, Adult Swim fans will enjoy sneak peeks including latest episodes and pilots, celebrity-filled panels and free autograph signings including the cast, producers and creators of Adult Swim’s popular shows including Robot Chicken, The Venture Bros., FLCL and Dream Corp LLC. Also, not forgetting, the Rickmobile (a pop-up shop vehicle in the shape of Rick Sanchez that sells exclusive Rick and Morty merchandise) will be traveling around San Diego, Rick and Morty fans will be able to track the Rickmobile on social media.

Also, TBS’s sci-fi adult animated series – Final Space will having a Q&A panel and autograph signing session with show creator and voice of the show’s protagonist, Gary – Olan Rogers, executive producer and showrunner – David Sacks, Tika Sumpter – voice of Quinn, Tom Kenny – voice of HUE and Coty Galloway – voice of Avocato. Throughout the convention, there will also be a Final Space VR Adventure and Shop. Visitors will get to enjoyy four minutes in space with Mooncake, Gary and The Lord Commander. After their space adventure, fans will also have the opportunity to take a photo of themselves surrounded by a giant, soft Mooncake wall and also get to buy Final Space merchandise including a a limited edition 7” vinyl with original music from the series. The vinyl from SPACELAB9 is exclusive to San Diego Comic Con and includes tracks “Good Kind of Dangerous” and “Gallows”.

Adult Swim is headed back to San Diego Comic Con with a unique spin on a favorite summer pastime. Fans can ditch their sleeping bags and pack their enthusiasm for a weekend that is sure to make everyone a happy camper. In addition, Comic Con attendees will get a first look at all-new programming at celebrity-filled panels and enjoy free signings featuring series stars, creators and producers from audience-favorites Robot Chicken, The Venture Bros., FLCL, and Dream Corp LLC.

Campers will experience the outdoors in a way that only Adult Swim could give them. Park entrance is free for fans 18+ and is right behind the convention center at 5thAvenue Landing and Convention Way, Thursday through Sunday, with exciting fan programming at night Thursday through Saturday.

Amenities of the park include all-new games like canoe races and archery contests, chainsaw-wielding wood carvers, merit badges and tasty eats from the hot dog roaster. Provided by State Farm, lockers will be on-site to keep fans’ stuff safe while they jump in canoes to race other campers. Collectible merit badges can be earned by campers who make the most of their park experience. Look for Badge Badger and State Farm brand ambassadors, who will be awarding badges to stand-out campers who are best prepared for the con (think sunscreen and hydration!).

Oh my double crap! TBS announced today that San Diego Comic Con will be the next stop on the Final Space intergalactic circuit. The panel will be followed by an autograph signing at a separate location.

The Final Space VR Adventure and Shop will welcome fans of the show to purchase brand new Final Space merch items including a limited edition 7” vinyl with original music from the series. The vinyl from SPACELAB9 is exclusive to San Diego Comic Con and includes tracks “Good Kind of Dangerous” and “Gallows”.

Additionally, visitors are invited to experience four minutes of outer-worldly fun in space with Mooncake, Gary and The Lord Commander. TBS, Turner’s general entertainment channel has released a trailer for a new and upcoming sci-fi comedy animated series called Final Space. Created by indie internet filmmaker – Olan Rogers, the new series follows an astronaut named Gary and his alien friend, Mooncake, together, they go on an intergalactic adventure to solve the mystery of “Final Space”, in other words, where the universe actually ends. Talkshow host Conan O’Brien is also an executive producer on the show.

Voice actors include actor and comedian Fred Armisen, cartoon voice actor – Tom Kenny (Various voices in Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, voice of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants), Doctor Who’s Tenth Doctor – David Tennant, the voice of Jake from Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time – John DiMaggio, The Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun, television and movie actress – Gina Torres and Conan O’Brien himself.

Cartoon Network’s event schedule for the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con International convention has been released. The convention is the largest of its kind in North America for film, television and comics and is possibly also the largest animation convention in the United States. San Diego Comic Con 2016 will take place at the San Diego Convention Center between Thursday 21st July and Sunday 24th July. As usual, this year’s convention will be a crystal gem fusion of fun events and panels, both of which are full of sugar, spice and everything nice.

The convention will also be a time for the general public to find out more about the development and talent behind Cartoon Network’s animated shows. During the convention, there will be voice actor and show producer/writer/artist/creator panels for Steven Universe, We Bare Bears, The Powerpuff Girls and there will be even an Adventure Time Card Wars tournament to promote the new Adventure Time Card Wars Kingdom game.

The panel for Steven Universe will be a unique experience compared to an ordinary panel as it will be formatted as a musical performance, where members of the voice actor cast will sing and composers of the show will play many of the songs specially written for the show. There will also be world premiere exclusive sneak peek screenings for the new Ben 10 series, Steven Universe, We Bare Bears and The Powerpuff Girls as well as a costume ball/costume contest judged by a panel of Cartoon Network show creators – Kyle A. Carozza (Mighty Magiswords), Spencer Rothbell (Head of Story for Clarence and voice of Clarence) and Rebecca Sugar (Creator of Steven Universe).
