Whatever Happened To Robot Jones? Month

Tooncast will be dedicating the month to a Cartoon Network Original series from 2002 – Whatever Happened To Robot Jones?, an animated series about a robot who goes to school and does his best to fit into human society. Episodes of Whatever Happened To Robot Jones? will air in the Tooncast Weekend and Tooncast Favourites programming blocks.

The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Movie

Tooncast will air the 1979 animated movie – The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Movie on Friday 31st March at 12pm Argentina.

Whit Richardson Appointed New President Of Turner Latin America

Turner Broadcasting System Latin America has appointed Whit Richardson as their new president today (13/02/2017). The announcement was made by Gerhard Zeiler, the President of Turner International. Mr Richardson has 23 years of experience working at Turner, before his new role he was Executive Vice President of Distribution for Turner Latin America. In his new role he will oversee Turner’s vast portfolio of channels in Latin America including Latin America’s most watched portfolio of kids channels – Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast and popular general entertainment channels such as TNT, TCM, TBS and WBTV.

Mr Richardson’s new role will also involve ad sales, distribution of channels and programming and product licensing and merchandising in Latin America. Mr Richardson will report to the head of Turner’s international division – Gerhard Zeiler.

Joel Whitten “Whit” Richardson III has been promoted to President, Turner Latin America. The announcement was made today by Gerhard Zeiler, President, Turner International. A 23-year veteran of the company, Richardson most recently held the position of Executive Vice President of Distribution, Turner Latin America. In his new position, he will report to Zeiler.

In his new role, Richardson has executive oversight of Turner’s regional portfolio of general entertainment, kids, sports and free-to-air brands; distribution and ad sales of those brands; the distribution of CNN’s services; and licensing and merchandising activity in Latin America.

Turner Latin America is Turner’s largest international division. Turner Latin America’s portfolio was once again the highest rated (#1) pay TV offering in Latin America in 2016* and includes an unmatched array of demographics and genres.

“Whit is a highly respected executive inside and outside Turner. I am delighted that he accepted the offer to become the next President of Turner Latin America. Best of 2016 on Tooncast Programming Block

Features episodes of Animaniacs, Freakazoid!, Pinky and the Brain, Duck Dodgers, Tazmania, 2 Stupid Dogs and many more. The block will air Monday to Friday at 6pm and weekends at 1pm.

Christmas Specials

Christmas specials of all of Tooncast’s shows from Monday 19th December to Sunday 25th December from 6pm.

Goodbye 2016

Classic Cartoon Network originals on the final day of 2016 (Saturday 31st December). Features episodes of Dexter’s Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog and many more.
